Quick P8 Question About Forge

There is no way in hell (haha... pun) that I kill Hephisto in Hell mode in p8... but if I kill him, then turn on p8, do I then get the p8 drop? Or p1 drop because when he was killed, he was p1?

What p8 drop? Unique and superunique drops aren't affected by player settings, and neither is the Hellforge rune drop (unless there are more gems on higher player settings?? Definitely only one rune though..).

I'm not sure what you mean here.

The Hellforge will *Always* drop, in order- Perfect Gem, Flawless Gem, Flawless Gem, Rune, Normal Gem. P1 or P8. The ONLY thing that changes how the HF drops is if you have more than 1 character partied that need to complete the quest. It'll then drop: 1 Perfect for each person, 1 Flawless each, 1 flawless each, ONLY 1 RUNE, 1 Normal quality each.

O, I was thinking that p8 works the same as partying. Oh well then, thought I could milk 8 pgems in one go... too bad I guess

The /players command adds unpartied players to the game, so use numbers/formulae relevent to those. I think it's mainly the drop rate that's affected by the difference though.
