question...

would it be possible to use jewels adding to minimum damage so it gets high enough to be higher than maximum damage?

no reason y i asked lol i was just curious lol

prolyl a stupid question :cheesy:

I am no expert, but I think not.

Though it might work for a low damage weapon but ...

The way I see it, you will need more jewels than you have sockets for, anyone else ?

I think when you try to surpass the maximum damage with minimum, it just adds to the maximum damage. If you try to go higher, it just makes the minimum damage one less than maximum.

It's true.

To test it you could put a +2 min jewel in an isenhart sword (or whatever low set sword does 17-18 damage)

You wouldn't even need to put a jewel in isenharts sword to see how the min > max damage works

A normal broad sword has a listed damage of 7-14. The only modifier on the isenharts sword is +10 to min damage, giving it a listed damage of 17-18 damage. If the minimum damage is greater than the maximum, the max gets pushed up to 1 above the total min (sounds confusing  )

+max won't add to damage when using isenhearts unless you have a decent ammount.

Excuse me? Do you mean that you must first overcome the +4 max dam that the + min adds? ( well even then + 4 max dam is hardly a "decent amount")
