Question: Conviction vs. Conviction
When a Paladin running Conviction meets a boss with Conviction, what happens?
The two times this has happened to me,
the first time it affected both my merc and myself, (low lvl, vs Normal Bremm Sparkfist)
the 2nd time, the enemy Conviction affected my merc but it didn't affect me (lvl 20, vs Nightmare Griswold)
In both cases I couldn't tell if my Conviction affected the boss or the monsters around (I killed all the minions/surrounding monsters before luring the boss to cleared area).
1. Does Conviction follow a "higher lvl wins" rule, and if so, what's going on in the second situation?
2. Does my Conviction affect the boss and/or monsters near the boss?
3. Any and all additional interesting mechanics information please. =p
