Question about 'Superior' mod

Does anyone know what [%enhanced defense] superior armor can range from and to? eg is it 1% to 100%?

I'm looking for a nice piece of armor to make Duress .. however I'm not sure if I should be searching for superior or not .. and if I bother waiting to find one, how much of a % bonus could I expect.

Thanks in advance.

It´s up to 15% ed. "Superior" mod (any) makes repair costs very high. If you play meele and don´t have a nice collection of Ral runes I would not recommend it ;) ... But if you get superior armour with ed, it grants max base def (+ed)... And Rals are easy to find... so may be you should do it anyway

Thanks for the response.

I'm not that concerned with cost .. I tend to horde gold and lower runes anyway, so that's no biggie.

Off to hell cows I go ..

I made Doom out of a superior zerker that in fact only added +1 ar. Was that a quite stupid idea? The repair costs are very high. Is there a way to know how cheaper it would get if it was made it on a normal weapon?

In this case you pay prctically for the word "superior" withaut to enjoy any really bonuses, so - yes - it wasn´t very smart if you hade a choice. These axes are preatty rare though and may be it was the only one you could have for the moment...
As said before - high repair costs can be avoided if you use the cube recipe. It is not any serious problem ;)
