Question about Exile

i alway not sure how those +skill in the defiance in the exile works
let say my exile is 16 defiance
if i learn 1 level of defiance so will it be lvl 1+16 +all my skill item+charm???
or it will be lvl 16 with no +skill or it will be lvl 16 with other +skill?

If i max 20lvl in defiance will it be lvl 20+16(exile) +skill charm and item or just lvl 20 +skill charm/item no exile?

Also a side question about aura din
dream helm +dream shield how will it act?
level 1 holy shock(learn) +15+15+ skill/charm=31++?

It's level 16 no matter what you do. +Skills won't affect it. Your defiance won't add to it either.

Same goes with the Auradin question. 'Dream' + 'Dream' = 30. If you max out your H.Shock aura as well, it's still 30.

so as a smite din if i get exile i max defiance or dun max better?? worth spending the skill point on it,cause i heard that synergy only fix at level 20?
A stupid question does s smite eat exile durability fast?

Maxing Defiance will synergize your Holy Shield, which helps your defense. Personally, after Smite, HS, Fana, I'd max Resist Lightning first on a pure Smiter.

Smite uses your weapon's durability, not the shield's.

I think it's more a matter of personal taste. Even without maxing Defiance on your skill tree, you can hit 20k defense easily (which is tons already). The chances of you actually having Defiance (from your skill tree, not from Exile) active is slim to none, but it does provide a hefty 15% defense per level when you use Holy Shield.

If you're going a pure Smiterdin, then you will have the spare points to allocate into Defiance--but otherwise it's not essential for your Paladin.

oh cause i been thinking of which to skill bulid to use, but then thanks lot i decide to take out defiance (sacrifice+zeal or defiance this what start to bother me)

I would do Zeal first.
To be quite frank, you could probably also do something along these lines:
~20 Zeal
~10 Defiance
~10 Sacrifice,
if you find that you're able to reach a medium with this instead.

If you aren't PvP, go 1-point Smiter.

In any case points in Sacrifice give more than those in Zeal. You won't need AR since your weapon will be Grief. And for when ITD doesn't work, you should be Smiting anyway.

something wrong with my paladin?
i using grief, i heard greif is godlike weapon to zeal and smite how is it my is so low

Rest 1 point only havent decide to max zeal/sacrifice or max smite

Guill helm
archon fort
belt currently spidersash, will change to a 40/15 verdun if possible
dracu glove
gore rider
2raven frost
a rare 2skill and mana leech ammy
grief and exile shown on pic

as the ss show my zeal do 800-900
smite do 1000-1200?

Grief's damage isn't displayed properly on the charcater screen. You're doing much more than that.

oh i see, by the way since exile defiance won't add syngery to holy shield should i max it or not worth spending 19skill for the more def bonus? i got 1 point in defiance for vigor

I don't think the little extra defense will be so useful (you'll have an active Defiance and Holy Shield already, after all) as to justify putting points into Defiance. I'd go with Smite or some other skill (perhaps one of the Resist auras for the passive +max res bonus) if you don't need the added damage.

lol thanks all my paladin doing good against uber tristsam but i have a big problem on izzy map the Knight Iron maiden kill me in one hit
This maybe a wrong place to ask is there any counter way to stop this or is hammerdin a better choose on collecting organ?

There's no real way to avoid it besides killing the OKs first, and being careful. Their AI is set to always cast Decrepify when you get close to them, so if you get IM'ed approach one and wait for him to remove it. A hammerdin wouldn't have that much trouble with that, of course, it's your choice.

pure hammer din will die, how ever i got this set up on my hdin, and he doing ubers fine:

shako with ber on minis and Kira on ubers
LW
zaka for smite, perfict spirit for teleport
hoto for prebuffing and teleport
HL
enigma ( hammer din after all... )
tgods
triple res ring
raven ring on mini ubers, res ring on ubers ( CBF on kira )
marrow walks 200ed boots
anni
lifers and res charms

over all: 4.7k hp, 2* dr with fade on in trist maxed res next to mephie, 70% CB per hit.

only drawback is IAS, but ut run never took longer then 10 mins with mini ubers and ubers them self
