quest? and progress?

Ok, I'm a builder kind of a player with a streak of pack rat so the quests might sound odd.

Quest: Make a character I'm proud of
Progress: There are possible contestants(fireclaw bear, huntermentalist, kicker assasin etc) but every time I start building a new char, I always feel the tingle in my fingertips that this is the one... and get a better idea well before reaching hell

Quest: Make a original/semi-original build thats fun and very viable
Progress: Nothing so far...

Quest: Make a strong melee character
Progress: Fireclaw bear, kicker assasin(and my current build :uhhuh: )

Quest: Make a good magic find character
Progress: Hammerdin, windy, but always wanting something better so mf time is usually very short lived(on the other hand I always prefer to have magic find gear so I usually find stuff by questing)

Quest: Find something very good/rare/unique
Progress: Best so far is either Bul kathos wedding band or Bonehew, haven't found any exceptionally good rares yet

Quest: Start trading
Progress: Not enough accumulated wealth so no chance of going active yet, although I probably could(and already have once) trade for something cheap that I desperately need

Quest: Beat hell baal
Progress: No chars have ever reached act 5 hell(not counting converted 1.09 chars), I always seem to get "stuck" in the pit or mausoleum, I wonder why... :scratch:

Quest: make a level 99 character
Progress: converted 1.09 chars: lvl88, 1.10 chars: lvl83

Ok that about covers it I think...

Quest: More Mat/Pats until I run out of build ideas
Status: 4 so far in addition to the 7 class ones. More to come, but to keep the game challenging, none of my characters will ever get the taste of playing below players 8 until they reach Mat/Pat.

Lessee... my only real projects at the moment are two MP groups, and a 7/99 in 1.09.

MP Group 1: Serdash and waynephinney(not a forum member here)
Benkai the Iron Barb(Me)
Gwenevire the Strafeazon(Him)

Both are at level 39. Hardcore untwinked at that. In Act 5 Norm ready to take out the ancients. Played on Fridays.

MP Group 2: Serdash and Shalakshmiyin(Also not a forum member here)
Odovacar the Iron Screamer(Warcries)
Kitsune the Hybrid Assassin(Lightning Traps and MA)

Currently in Act 2 normal. Next week we're on our way to the Maggot Lair. Played on Thursdays.

Matriarch SerdashV Level 91 LF\Freezing Arrow Amazon
Currently taking a break from her. She drops cows like it's her job. Which it sort of is.
Patriarch SerdashII Level 90 Fanatic Zealot Paladin
My main player at the moment. Going at a 4 frame zeal with a 130%+40% ED Jewel Schaefers. He already killed king by accident, though, so he runs Ancients Way/Pindleskin/Baal/Icy Cellar/ect instead. But when we MP in cows, he goes nuts. 1.5k Life, Max Blocking, 50% Damage Reduction, can we say awesome?
Matriarch Kagura Level 85 Nova Sorceress
A sorc I got to Mat in <3 days. She's freakin awesome. 8 Frame Nova with orb as backup. Level 25+ static field. She statics things not even on the screen.
Patriarch SerdashIX Level 76 Frenzier Barbarian
He needs some work yet. As well as 3 levels and another schaefers hammer. A 'pure' titan. 'pure' Only because he put SOME into Vit for needed survival.
Patriarch SerdashVIII Level 71 Poison and Bone Necromancer
Specializes in Amp/CE in cows, elsewhere he's got a Bone Spirit and Poison Nova that pack a pretty good punch. He's not much of a good solo-er though.
Slayer Celia Level 50 Hybrid Assassin
She's a MEAN character. She can drop players 64 Baal in no time at all. Her build is very similar to that of Icebird's assassin ClawsOfFury. Uses Phoenix Strike and Death Sentry as well as mixing in a little Dragon Claw to decimate everything. All in all one of my favorite to play so far.

Long term: complete grail... before I retire (25 years or so)

Short term: complete another of the endgame sets and build a character about it. Most of them have a single item remaining. I have two completed.
