PVM lightning amazon

I'm pretty much new, I'm trying to figure out how to handle mana with my lightning amazon (I'm using CS and LF). I read that I shouldn't put points in energy and use mana leech but mana leech don't seem to work because I can't hit anything without CS.. should I put points in energy?

Try getting some mana after kill items (lidless, silkweave) or stick an insight on the merc. You could also try just wearing more +mana items, as using some +80 mana rings and a spirit shield is far better then spending points on energy.

You will want to use Insight on your mercenary for sure. As Kijya said, go with +mana after kill items. These are helpful. The unique Harlequin Crest Shako is an awesome cap for this build, and the +mana based on character level is huge as well. Have fun throwing those javs.

if you got a lidless wall shield with 5 To Mana After Each Kill that should help you a long way just think if you kill 4 monsters you get 20 mana and a maxed LF costs 19.5 mana
and i know you dont always kill with 1 shot of LF that means you just need to kill bigger groups^^

This is some good advice about play style for a lightning amazon. For groups of more than 5, start tossing lightning fury at them. For groups of 5 or less, time to use charged strike. I find this method to be the fastest and most mana efficient. Give it a go.

Lidless is quite inefficient compared to silkweaves + valkyrie wing. That's what I use, and only have problems vs small groups of hell monsters and lightning immunes.

ya never thought of these
just thought of lidless cause its so common and cheap

same rules as befor
know how much mana you will get back for killing and pick your fights

Hybridize it, slap a WF on for your switch (you can go with 1pt strafe if you want and just use it to leech mana)

ya that would sort the prob out but its so much more work than just changeing 1 or 2 bits of gear
