Just a little fyi, but I'm pretty sure you can't craft fcr rings or are you just talking of the other mods on em?

Hmm, I wouldn't use any of those at all. Rares are the way to go for me.
I probably wouldn't even consider using any of those recipes except for the blood gloves.

^^ you do know the mods listed are just the guaranteed mods. You can get random ones added to make the item much better.

Yes I know that there are random mods added to them, but to my knowledge I have never seen a crafted ring with fcr on it.
Here's my best and worst crafted caster rings:

10% Faster Cast Rate
Replenish life 5
Resist Cold 15%
Resist Fire 15%
Resist Poison 15%
Resist Lightning 36%
Regenerate Mana 10%
Worst
Required Level 96
7% Faster Cast Rate
Replenish life 4
Resist Poison 24%
Resist Lightning 14%
Regenerate Mana 6%
Worst because it's not that good and it's required lvl 96!

Though I should have been, since I've seen screenshots of some crafted items before. I just got back from playing basketball and I didn't die, so I'm happy(if a bit out of it).

How do you make caster rings?..
Magic Ring + Amn Rune + Perfect Amethyst + Any Jewel
This reminds me how much fun crafting is, I should do more of that. How do ilvls work on that? Does the original ilvl matter?

Yes. The final level of the crafted item is one half of the level of the character doing the crafting, rounded down, plus one half of the base item, rounded down. The level of the jewel and gem, of course, are immaterial.
