The thing is... I got 2 necros.

One poison necro lvl 83

Head: circlet +2 necro skills and +cantrememberthestatsonit
Body: Trang
Gloves: Trang
Amu: +2 pb skills
Weapon: Blackbob thingy
Shield: Trang
Belt: Trang
Rings: Raven + res ring
Boots: Disciple set boots
Charms: 16 11 torch, 26 gheeds (dno why i keep that gheeds since im no mfer xD)

And one bone necro lvl 14
(this is the eq he has in stash)

Head: Delirium
Body: Enigma
Gloves: Magefist (although i got more than 1 trang in the chest ^^)
Amu: Atm eye of the etlich... :/
Weapon: Well i got a 2socc lich wand + dol rune. hmmmmmm...
Shield: Homon... Homonoc...thingy with poison facet
Belt: none sofar... i got a tal belt lying around though, he can prolly get that
Rings: Dwarf and suggestively the raven from my poison necro
Boots: Sanders
Charms: None.

Also i got 1 ist to spend... tho i havent done hell hf with my bone necro (he cant seem to get that baal nm q )

So er... Should i delete one of them?
I mean... I can't afford full eq for both i think (with torches and ravens and good amus and all that stuff) so should i delete one of 'em and go with the other? Or should i keep both and try to get hold of stuff for both? Can anyone help me here?

PvP or PvM?

For PvM I'd say poison, bone for PvP. Either one can really do good in both though.

I just want to point out that a sadistic Amazon can use Slow Missiles on a Bone Necro...that'll make you a sad panda. Poison doesn't have that limitation.

between the two of your chars..the boner..since he has nigma..for pvp

but for pvm

give the nigma to the psn nec...that should be nice =P also pick up a deaths web when you can...get a shako (i prefer these for the life and +skills) and that should be pretty sweet =P...and you only need 3 pieces of trangs (sock your dwebb and shield with some +x%/-5% psn facets)

This isn't completely related to the topic, but I've always thought of Poison Nova as one of the best 1-point secondary skills in the game maybe even second only to Frozen Orb. Poison first "Prevents Monster Heal" and then applies it's effect, because if it didn't it would merely slow regen and not actually do any damage. This means that a single point Poison Nova is essentially a "screen-wide Prevent Monster Heal".

At least this has always been my understanding, I could be completely wrong. I make it a point not to know too much about this game so that I can enjoy playing it

It is somewhat of a pmh i guess... but its only around for about 2 seconds, and my mages can do it for me as I normally have CE's to spam. However, I put CE, Gumby, Sparky, Rusty, Shockwave, *all other random 1 point skills that pop into my head* ahead of it, as compared with the other one point wonders, it really doesnt do much, I would only think of spamming it perhaps in Uber Trist, but even then im spamming terrors and decriptify's to make sure everything goes well.

Alright... So you say i should play with my psn nec? (im just gonna play with one of 'em)

On him, im not sure if i put my skills correctly. something feels wrong, since my dmg with psn explosion is 48k and my friends (lvl 88) is 115k :/
Like 1 in every curse,
except lower resist which i almost maxed,
maxed all the psn synergies, and...
1 clay golem
1 golem mastery
also i put like 3 to bone spear (no idea why, dont ask)
2 to teeth or something.
1 bone armor

On my boney, who's lvl 33 now (i think) i put
1 bone armor
1 clay golem
1 golem mastery
alot in teeth
alot in bone spear
2 bone spirit
also 1 to amp dmg.

i dont know what curse i should be using with a bone either... decrep?

I heard trang necros are effective btw. Not sure if thats true though xD

Yes, but your poson mage(s) are likely to only poison one monster at a time, Poison Nova hits everything on the screen. It is very surprising how much faster everything dies when nobody is healing. You do have to re-cast it every couple seconds, as you say, which is why I normally only use it in high-player count games. It isn't normally needed, but it makes a HUGE difference when doing solo Baal runs in an 8-player game.

I'm not trying to say that it is extremely powerful, only that if you are looking for a "support attack" skill from your necromancer 3 points into Poison Nova (2 pre-req, 1 point in) is probably the best deal available too you.

nova for pmh isn't worth it..it only lasts 2 secs....

as for your psn nec...if you are a perfectionist..you might want to start over...no point stacking 3 pts into bspear or 2 pts into teeth....those could be better spent on minions..that keep your opponents occupied as the psn courses through them...just a thought...
