Well here we are. Vince is definitely the strangest build out of the Sept, and not only because he's a necromancer carrying around a staff that looks like it's heavier than he is. He's a meleemancer with a bit of a twist, I wanted to incorporate the PN procs from eBotD as well as I could, so he's fully synergized that way. It's fun and all seeing the procs with the other chars, but I wanted to see if I could make it work in an actual productive way, and for that reason he took on Hell on /p1 instead of /p8 like the rest of the sept.

His other quirk is that I wanted to make an Iron Golem out of something a little fun. Well, what's more fun than taking a ridiculously-priced runeword? Nothing, that's what!

Having it be ethereal was purely stylistic and completely unneccessary. The Concentrate certainly contributed to Vince's damage though so it wasn't ENTIRELY gluttonous.

The Journey:
He's the first of the Sept to break away from the "/p8 all the way" restriction. He tackled Hell on /p1 to maximize the utility of PN procs, and I'm glad I did that because he was quite successful! It also kept him from dying during questing, which made my rune stash happy.

Some Thoughts:
- Meleemancers and FUN. I thought he'd be way more of a slog but he was entertaining the whole way through. This won't be my last one, but maybe next time I won't make a Pride Golem just to save the nerves a bit.

- The real question; Do PNova procs actually do anything? On the low-life monsters, it certainly does! One cool thing is that the kills from those novas count towards proccing more, so you can decent little chains going on groups like fallen camps or other small monsters in large groups.

- I considered Doom for the IG as well, but since Necs have great crowd control I didn't really need the HF aura, so I opted for Concentration instead. Way too expensive for what it added? Probably. Worth it? Definitely.

- No deaths during questing! Turns out not wanting to poof a Pride IG is a good motivator to playing safe and keeping BO active. ;) I did end up killing him in Cows along with Vince when I ran headlong into a pack of cows without activating BO first. Woops. :)

- Could he have been effective on a higher /p setting? Sure, but the PN procs would have suffered and that was the fun of it. He could easily have taken it higher damage-wise though, if you're thinking of making your own. He always felt safe too with all the curses at his disposal.

- I would be interested to see one of these guys with Andy's Visage on to get more procs, though I'm not sure it would be super beneficial as they are a lower level than BotD. I just couldn't be bothered to level him to 83.
