So my first character since my restart just made pat. Meet Darius, the bone necro:
So, as he was my first char, it wasn't always easy. Normal was horrible until 18. Then I drank potions like mad, but stuff died fast. Possibly also because everything was players 1, as switch doesn't have players x yet... I had to rerun areas often to keep my level where I wanted it to be.
Nightmare was very easy, because I made my white Wand, and +8 bone spear is amazing. In act 5 I had asll the runes for oath drop, so I decided to take the hint, and make oath for my frost zealot. Unfortunately, while the runes found their way to me, as if hinting to make the runeword, I've yet to find an ethereal elite base...
after nm, I farmed the pit for a while for some better items. Eventually I decided to go on questing, and almost immediately found a unique shako... So far the mf runs
Questing in hell was slow, but safe. Bone prison works wonders for not dying, but often I lock myself In the process, and need to wait the 24 second duration before moving on. I feel that wall would probably be the better skill, if controller targeting worked better. Now the wall pretty much never goes where I need it...
Hardest part was succubi in act 5. They can attack from so far ahead, and without a mouse, it's impossible to retalliate in kind. So I needEd to move ahead through their attacks, which did not always go as planned.
Ancients were easy. I just spammed bone prison, making it difficult for them to move, and then picked them of one by one.
I really liked how easy it was not to have to deal with imunes. Gonna miss that in the next characters.
I'll run the pits with him some more for items. Other than that, I'm working on a frost zealot (act 5 nm) and an untwinked strafer (act 5 normal)
