Re: Patch 1.12 released

When i read the thread title i got really excited, unfortunetly it didn't last long :/

This is a useless patch for me, i've been using an .iso for a long time anyway. I just don't get it why they didn't fix all those bugs that are really easy to fix...

I will however update anyway, i think everybody should since it would be very bad to split the SP-community in two.

Re: Patch 1.12 released

Hey folks,

Anyone happen to have a new modified .dll for the new patch? I do appreciate the help.

In 1.11b, the original and modified d2gfx.dll differed in a single byte(IIRC), it does not necessarily mean it's easy to do it, but I hope someone will come up with with it, soon:scratchchin:

Re: Patch 1.12 released

I've still not got 1.12 running on linux (due to laziness), but I believe corrupted has one up and running.

It'll be the same single byte to edit, it's just a case of finding the offset and modifying it.

True, and after I read silospen's post in another thread regarding that single byte, I downloaded a hex editor, opened up the new d2gfx.dll, and what I saw in the editor looked nothing like what silospen put in his post. I was lost like last year's Easter egg!

Silospen, which editor do you use, if I may ask?

Re: Patch 1.12 released

You may not ask.

EDIT:
And you are confused by the meaning of "instruction".
