I'm probably buying it soon. The DVD is surprisingly cheap and I've read that it has both the original edition and the director's cut.

I also read that the main reason this release wasn't as successful as they expected is the release of the album Dark Side of the Moon just a short time later.

I managed to stay away from electric Miles for a couple of weeks. Not that it's bad to listen to the same artist a lot, but I do find it quite funny how much I enjoy his music.

Each time I hear that opening groove, I just have to listen through the whole song. Just beat and rhythm. Solos in short bursts. Melody is an accident. Miles running down the real voodoo.
