For those interested an update.

Technically i didn't screw up. Untechnically the result is the same as she said no. I guess the upside is she didn't say hell no? Anyhow, i think i'll just be depressed for several decades and maybe try again after that.
 
I don't think that map seeding is enough cheating to get me a lady.

What do mean mean again? I hardly ever do.
 
How is your charisma stat? Maybe you could use an Akara reset to put all points towards that, then bring a pally in party with you for vigor and get a sorceress to prebuff you with at least lvl 30 enchant... that might do.
 
I think i still would need moar. Something like selling a soul might do the trick. Now if anyone has a good one i can have...

RL: freaking out due to two job interviews over the next two weeks (may be moving to LA if successful with a nice pay raise, also would be back home with parents)

D2: nope.

OVG: somewhat frustrated that the rayquaza event is this weekend. Especially if shinies are available.
 
Anybody on here mechanically inclined?

RL: Dead battery last week after using cig lighter to run air compressor for a few mins. Battery shouldn't die that easily.. Jumped it and took to AutoZone. Battery test came out fine. Strange. :confused:

Started up several times over the last week with no problems. This morning, again reading 11.6v, won't start. Jumped it again, goes right up to 14.8v with the engine running (alternator seems to be working).

Double checked both times, no lights etc left on that would have drained battery. Cars have so much electronic stuff these days.. no idea what the deal is. :mad:
 
RL: Let's see... today, tired. We had a new dishwasher delivered Wednesday afternoon (hooray for tax refunds). Once our kids were in bed, my wife went to see a movie with some friends so rather than do the responsible thing and play D2 I decided to surprise her by installing it while she was out. I got the job done but there were a couple unanticipated obstacles along the way (there always are with home improvements), so by the time I got that finished and managed to sufficiently wind down for the night, it was after midnight. Kid woke me up before 5 the next day. Then, last night, we were up with one kid or another at least 10 times, so a second straight night of not-so-great sleep. I will likely need to caffeinate this afternoon if I hope to take advantage of this being a Friday night coming up.

D2: A little here and there with my untwinked bowazon as time permits.

OVG: Played a little of the Starcraft II arcade game Direst Strike with my wife last night. Matches take about 10-30 minutes usually so you can get at least a couple rounds in pretty easily. Fun little game.
 
@Tenecabo If he had a sorceress pre-buffing him, I don’t think he would need to go dating...


RL: Looking forward to the weekend, it’s going to be a lazy one for the first time in a while. Spring is coming, so thinking about getting a new wetsuit for the open water swimming season.

D2: Some Classic tonight. Need to get Cow maps sorted too.
 
@maxicek Hear ya on that! My home base is KC, MO. I think they've had maybe one day of warm weather and it's been just snow, sleet and hell ever since. I can't wait for the day I get to go home and put on my best short shorts, sperries and a cut off t-shirt. Then we're going to drink like it's freshman year of college. Truly never looked forward to a blackout so much in my life.

D2: Farming Diablo for an essence so I can respec my sorc to blizzard. I've done over 30 runs without one unfortunately.

OVG: had to move hotel rooms last night because the wifi isn't strong. Talked to the manager and she was so nice. They moved me closer to the "good router" lol. If the internet works then I'm going to play some CoD Blackout tonight with friends.

Sounds like the connection to the battery terminals is bad. I had this same issue when the things that go around the posts weren’t making good contacts. Or maybe those electrical wires running to the posts have a short or a crimp or something
 
RL: Last week at my job! :)

EPL: Tottenham lose, Chelsea tie, and we beat United 2-0. Doesn't get much better than that!
