OT: The Daily Thread

I remember when dailies were, well, daily :P

RL: Home for a few days to view flats in Glasgow. Back to Cambridge on Friday and then I another month on my project, finishing on the 28th, before starting my PhD on the 1st October, so literally straight there. Somewhat nervous about getting a place in time...

D2: I actually played some today! Gwynt, my untwinked 99er did half of hell act II. I also have Oliver's Army tonight :)

OVG: Nope... Just reading really. I only have a couple of Charley's War volumes left, which I'd like to finish before I go back.
 
D2: After a long break, I fired up the game again. It was like putting on a well-broken in pair of jeans. Leveled my HC javazon to 50, currently in NM Act III. Great fun.
 
We should be able to like a post more than once ...

Btw, that HC Javazon is untwinked and will join the 99er journey, right? ;)
 
RL: My internship finished on Friday and then I move to Glasgow on Saturday, start my PhD on Monday - so excited! However, the two most important pieces of data came in on Friday and are due tomorrow, so things are tight. Plus, I have a lot of write-ups to do. Unfortunately, a handful of interns finished last week and my login got deactivated with theirs so I haven't been able to access any of my data all weekend, not happy... It should get fixed in the morning but I really don't need delays!

D2: Just Oliver's Army at the moment. I will be in my Glasgow flat and have my PC on Sunday, so I will hopefully finish Gwynt soon and start his careful journey to 99. He will be my first HC 99er and I'm also hoping to get do the HC grail, although my SC grail is at -2 so almost feel tempted to go and finish it before bothering with the HC grail...

OVG: Nope? I haven't been reading much this month because of work, but I've been watching more TV. I finally gave in and watched the Deathnote film, which I was scared to watch incase it soured the (amazing!) source manga. So far, it's not 'great', but not as bad as people said it was.
 
I didn't last more than 2 minutes with the Death Note film, it was lame and I didn't want to tarnish the good memories of the anime/manga.
 
Page 3 ... come on people, this isn't the weekly ot thread ;).

RL: despite things being very busy, I'm full of energy lately. Only minor issue is that I'm still having some troubles with my hip from time to time when running, but luckily not too much lately. We even did a weekend with 6 of my running buddies 2 weeks ago, in which we ran 3 days in a row, for a total of 85K. First time I did more than 100K in a week. That definitely gave me a lot of confidence. So now I'm looking for 1 or 2 more goals at the end of the year. Maybe a fast half marathon and another ultra.

D2: still plugging away with my 99er Sorc and to a lesser extent with my 99er Paladin. Still so many other stuff I want to do in D2 too, so I'll be around for a while ;).

OVG: played some D3 Season 15 with my favourite class in that game, the Monk. It's a lot of fun, yet at the same time it's already growing old on me again. Too bad, as there is a lot of stuff they actually did right with the game.

I also dowloaded Shadow Warrior 2 for free from GOG, from their 10 year anniversary giveaway. I'll have to see if I actually get to play it. I mean, I also still have the original Unreal for free from them, as well as Victor Vran. Never got around to play them
 
RL: Very super busy. Caught a very persistent cold, which lead to very busy at work. Going to a wedding next weekend, a new family member joining next week (a wee ginger kitten), taking care of the cats of the happy couple during their honeymoon. So many things going on! Which has lead to...

D2: None at all. Have not really even thought about D2 much. Not going to take similar break as last time, just need to get life in a bit quieter place.

OVG: A little bit of Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4. I really want to get Spiderman, but I can't justify getting it with so many great games unfinished and HZD is one of those. So eventually I'll finish it. Also playing Injustice 2 on Mobile, but mostly to have something play on the go.
 
RL: Working away from home this which means hotel stay; crappy location; crappy food and the most awful location for laptop cables. Still internet is good and home tomorrow

D2: Reading threads and questing Kestel, my blizzballer. Just bested the NM Council so NM Meph tomorrow evening on the train/plane. Got all excited with an unique ammy dropped; shouldn't have - nozakon relic.

OVG : only on my android when taking a break from spreadsheet building at work. Crappy football ( as in association football) game but its free so meh
 
RL: PhD is starting well so far. I had a conference on Friday. Unfortunately, I am apparently terrible at removing make-up and spent the whole day meeting very important people in my field, with the remnants of eyeliner fairly visible on my top lid. Nice one Kitteh. I also have a poster at the National Cancer Research Institute conference in November, although I have no idea which day we are presenting on. So, that is Sunday-Tuesday, followed by a separate conference on the Wednesday. I'm getting a bit conferenced out now :P

D2: Gwynt is in LK looking for some goodies! Asmodeus is in act III normal I think... Plus, Oliver's Army tonight.

OVG: Nothing... I'm going round to the flat of my best friend from school on Saturday for a tabletop evening though, which will be awesome fun :D

Embarrassing...but why did you have eyeliner on?
