OT(Sorta): God Help us All!

Hey everyone,
The following statements shall be displayed with a disclaimer before proceeding, :rant:Rant Alert! :rant:
I understand that we all were noobs sometime, and that its common to come across a noob now and then. Soon though, I fear they will overrun us all.
I'm not calling anyone specifically a noob, I am not doing this to flame noobs everywhere, I just need to inform any people who are interested in playing ladder again.

All of these encounters occured during ladder play on USWEST, and ladder play only, I have yet to see SERIOUS signs of noobs on non-ladder such as this. After the first reply I have decided to try ladder on USEast, maybe less noobs there... Please? :scared:
1st Sign, I started a Summoning necro for fun, so I decided to join a tristram run game, turns out the first 3 i joined had been made by someone who hadnt gotten cain yet. Sure that happens from time to time so i brushed it off
2nd Sign, I joined another trist run game, someone finally had it going off right,
then at the end someone said, hey can anyone rush me to act6 after this?
3rd Sign, Immediatly following this 'noob' remark, 4 other people there said, OO rush me to act6 also, or I need rush too.
4th Sign, (This isnt really a sign but hey it kinda was annoying) an amazon has picked up 4 perserved heads, that have dropped and 2 targes, she says she'll sell them to the pallys, and necros in game. I stricly told them that this game was meant for the 'party' experience and, managed to get the items to the correct class..kinda picky but I was in a bad mood.
5th Sign-There will come an Angel from the sky dressed in, an angelic ammy? Yeah I was so pissed off, I had to find someone non noob, or just pick on a noob to get this out of my head. So i dropped by a Bring Angelics game, asked him what part of the set he needed? he said He needs the ammy for the +1 to skills, and the ring would be nice since each one gives +50 to mf,
I asked if he was a noob, he said no and I praised god and made a new friend on Ladder mode.
This shall be my final rant, about noobs forever!! I just hope Diablo2 doesnt become a noob haven forever... END RANT
If you actually read all this, thanks for your time, and sorry for filling your forums with this crap. You may delete or remove as necessary.. I just needed to get this away from me, like that EVIL monkey in my closet! AAAAAGHT!

My noob moment is that I was helping a sorc through act one when a lvl 72 amazoness (I was only lvl 17) came in and killed us both in secends. After getting bored with watching me make a mad dash for my body for the 6th time, she let me get my body back. The noob thing about it was I found my ear with my body and have kept it with me because I thought it was a rare occurence or something! (yes, I am still a noob) :lol:

Thats funny as

I wish ears had random magical properties, like if u could socket them into some armor then it gave out random mods

that would be cool , then there would be a use for them!! The higher level the ear the better.

(U would have to make it in hell difficulty only though) since level 99 characters would just let their friends kill them for the ears. and you would have to make it so that if u got your body back after a PK session then u wouldnt get the experience back. (that way a level 99 character wouldnt want to die - the exp cap loss would be too much.)

Naturally it would have to be based on how much of the exp bar is full - like if they were 5% off their next level then the magical properties would be more. If they just levelled up to say 90 then got a freind to kill them , then they wouldnt loose any exp, so if the bar was 0-50% full then the ear would be worthless as well

I would rather have a world full of noobs than one filled with cocky experienced players that seem to act like they are gods of men.


Not to mention noobs don't understand all the concepts behind hacks and such so that would be a plus. I suppose its all perspective.

Totally agree with stuff said here. Some people can be very annoying specially when they spam the screen with all caps

and other such material. The noobs i hate (maybe too strong of a word) are the ones that buy all their stuff off ebay or some other d2 site.

It just kills me when theres this lvl 89 barb that trades me ik armor for fanghelm just because he thought he would look cool as a werewolf and already had a nigma that he had bought.

The only good thing about noobs is that they dont have all the mh and botting programs that spoil the game. Well end of my rant i'm likin this thread :uhhuh:

Yeah I just came up with a new world event for 1.11(If there is one)
(This is in story format BTW)
It is the year 2007 and the 1.11 patch has come out, people from all over the Diablo2 realm are enjoying the beautiful days, of blood and dead demons, still wondering if Blizzard had decided on a World Event suddenly something greater than all fears ever, ever imagined happens in a friendly trading game in hell mode!
This.. is their story-
Having a friendly conversation as we are having now about noobs
A Zealot in game yells, bragging about how he owned a lvl 89 barb, who didnt know how to get whirlwind..
A lvl 87 Bone necro responds.....
"Seriously, i think diablo GIVES birth to noobs just to stop the pros from defeating him they are like bots, or world events!"
Suddenly!
A NOOB WALKS THE EARTH
pops up on the screen
Everyone leaves game but a few brave hereos, in order to see what horrors they shall have to face.
The noob ran into town! and wouldnt stop clicking on a poor sorc.
"Save us!" Cried the lvl 98 meteorb sorc.
"HEY HEY GIMME FREES GIMME FREE FREES Yelled the noob chasing a barb until he ran to act5"
"Get away from My items!" Yelled the glowing 1.11 ik set barb.
"Hey whered you go? PP PP PP PP PP PP PP PP PP!!"
he said over and over spamming the screen!
"DONT SPAM US WITH PP!" They all cried in horror, and the brave warriors left the game never to be seen again, until we wrote this documentary.

THE END
No noobs were used in the making of this film, all noobs are now living safely in there current habitat of USWEST ladder, DO NOT FEED THE NOOBS!
