Okay boys and girls! I'm off for the summer. I'm leaving for a regatta in Amsterdam today, and then I'll be at a training camp in Germany, till with World U23 Champs starts, August the 6th in Poznan, Poland.
Hopefully this will be the time where I get a medal. No more nr. 4.
Don't know really what to say. I'm really excited about it, because this is my last year as an U23 rower. :hanky:
Anyway, I wish you all a great and happy summer. This will be my last post for God knows how long. If anyone wants to loan my accounts during the summer, feel free to e-mail me at:

Love you all. ('cept Unchosen)
EDIT: By the way .. if you want to know what happened to me and the dad... Luckily he knew who I was , because both the girl and I row with the national team. So basically, he just looked at me, then looked at the TV and looked at back at me. I just thought "Oh, man - this isn't happening!!!". I was really embarresed, and tried to make a sound that should be "Hi.", but really, what came over my lips was more of a gowlish sound, unfortunately. Then I remembered that I should probably switch channel, and so I did. He just looked at me and said "Good evening. So you're a guest of AK?" "Yeah", I replied and I felt like I wanted to shrink into the size of a very very small mouse that could hide beind a pillow in the couch. "I thought I head something" her dad said and then left the room, with me sitting there all alone. I felt sooooo small.
This was probably one of the most awkward and strange situations, if not
the most I have ever experienced. Luckily he tried to act like he didn't care, which probably made me feel even more embarrased.
