I've noticed that if someone has had a theme in tars for a period of time and he changes the theme it confuses me. I get easily distracted by the tar and think "Oh darn, another day another member" then after reading a few of the persons posts look at the nick and notice it's someone of the regulars.

For example, Ash has had a portrait theme for a while and now he has changed it and followed(I'm not entirely sure who switched first) suit with Victus and changed his tar to a in game tar of a char.

Bob_TheMadCow has had a cartoon theme for some time now and the sonic tars actually fit into the category(hand drawn graphic style, cartoon links)

Dolph has had his tar for as long as I can remember(except the little straying).

Kbob has had his photoshop or w/e tars for some time also.

Kaz hasn't given up on the *** kicking tar that he has, even the christmas version was based on it.

Alain has had that obsolete in game skill graphic tar as long as I remember.

Beowulf had tars a while back but has resorted to being without one.

Black Dog has had IMO an artistic theme for a period of time, I think they are quite personal or give a message.

I have been tarless for a reason and thats clarity.


Too tired to analyze others. Probably messed up on the last ones too.

Ps: Someone with a psychology studies can make drawn out assesments of these themes but I'll tell you one thing, they can cram them up their ***.
This is here to invoke relaxed discussion about tars since I have none.

You have a point there... I do tend to check people's names most of the time, but if there's a 'tar/sig I use those first. I remember a long time back when I recognise peopel by their sig first, name second. Then sigs got removed and lots more people got tars (that's when I got my first one here). I picked up the font/colo r in SR1 (I think) and have stuck with it since. Its amazing how much easier it is to spot my own posts in amongst all the other silver text :thumbsup:

That x-mas jin tar was fun to make for Kaz It wasn't perfect, but he was happy, so I was happy.

I do kinda keep to a theme with my 'tars, but the theme is more kinda "lil cool pics of things I like". I had a 'tar with my mate from Norway for a while, but it freaked people out :lol:

I could come up with a idea that meme's tars are based on his interests at that particular time.

The Unchosen's tar was good also. The smoking green sheep! It also reflected his image quite well...

It's not that Asheron, I just thought it would be rude to say you have tar's which emphazise innosence(sp) youth and trends(hard to avoid labeling ).

They are cute, energetic or cool to your eye, but to some that means you have a childish tar.

Couldn't avoid it, you asked for my honest assesment(based on fuzzy recollections and a general tilt based on attitudes mood etc.) and I couldn't refuse.

Did I manage to hurt your feelings twice this day?

Tor had the Strid-atar, which was scarier than a spider with a machine gun and a dozen manga tentecles...

Stickels on the other hand tends to have an Avvy-tar.

I didn't make this tar, a good friend of mine made it for her website and I just adapted it. I tried making my own animated barb tar but it came out a big pile of crap.

So the necro will boogy on!
