Playoff time again meaning even though I barely have 2 channels, I'll still have hockey almost every night as opposed to the 6 games I've seen since November.
I just have to decide who I'm to cheer for... I'm leaning strongly towards Francis but the Leafs are a big draw back.

Spam has been around as long as there has been posters in forums. These members, often referred to as spammers, are far above the lurkers and trolls on the poster food chain but sadly fall shy of the helpful poster rank. For most of their lives a spammer makes it look like he is helping when really all he is doing is agreeing with the person that posted in front of him. for example:
poster a: yes, you can find that item and if you socket it with 4 shaels you will be able to reach the breakpoint. but you also must remember that since it is ethereal it will break without a zod.
spammer: yea you wouldnt want it to break, so make sure to get that zod.
That is the example of a spammer who tries to blend in with the crowd and post short sentences as to not draw attention to himself. Of course when cornered about his spamming deeds, a resourceful spammer must always have a post where he actully helped someone handy of collateral. Some of these ideas that look really good to get a mod off your back would be a guide or a helpful advice to a newb or noob.
One of the key guides that all spammers need to know is to never stay in one place to long. By lurking around and posting multiple times on the same forums, such as going through every thread and posting agreements with the person above. (see example 1) This of course will be a sure fire give away to any browseing mod to check some of your posts to see if the quality is good or not. That will lead to them checking up all your past posts and if you do not have to post of help in your goody bag handy, you will equal a dead spammer. The goal would actully be to go and post about 3 or 4 times on each forum and then move onto the next and continue the process. Make sure that you pace yourself so that you do not run into that pesky timer delay by the admin.
Here are some helpful tips to advoid the admin timer.
Try reading the past 6 posts in the thread instead of the one you are replying to.
Use multiple windows so that while is loading, you can be posting in another thread.
Have an egg timer set to one mintue so that as soon as your minute is up, you have another post ready to go.
have a game like pinball in the back window to admuse you for a while.
One thing that all spammers must realize is that if you tick off another member, do not fight back when he flames you. This of course could lead to him reporting you, which would call in a mod to referee and could lead them to checking the quality of your posts. That of course would mean a dead spammer. So my suggestion would be to walk away but before you do, make sure you get one last post there that always ends with a smile. Smiles make a post seem happy and will always show that you are joking with the person and will easily cool down the situation.
Spammers should also stick with there own kind. Threads such as the FC series and Natures Brownies are a good place to find high quality spammage. There you find many great posters who have specialized in this field. However one must realized that by spilling off your conversation from these giant OT threads will lead to flaming of others towards you because they are actully looking for help. This will bring the mod towards you and could result in a banning. If you have not read any of my important rules so far, read this.
In case of a banning it is key to change your name for your return and to lay low for a while. Do not draw attention to yourself and only alert friends of your real name. Mods had return banees and will ban you again without hesitation.
