I guess I don't follow. What do you mean? That there are usually 3 mafia members in these games?

Is it not true that there should be 3 mafioso and they vote together so if Dash and Spigot were mafia who targetted the 'bomb' by mistake there should be 3 dead mafia members? Unless the bomb is incapable of killing more than 2.

The roles are hidden so I think it's dangerous to assume that there is a specific number of mafiosos. Out of 20 people, there's probably closer to 4 or 5. At the same time, they might have special abilities making them more powerful then the standard ones (with the double kills we've seen so far), so to be fair, there might actually be less than 3. At this point it's all ridiculous speculation.

Actually mafia offed Gorny. Then serial killer died while taking out the bomber.

You said that so matter-of-factly it's scary. No one can be sure of that except aman (and he's not playing). There might be multiple mafia organizations like in the current SP round. There might be a serial killer. There might be a suicide bomber. There might, there might, there might...Like I said, it's all pointless speculation at this day 1 stage.

@ Sitro- I like lynching n00bs as much as the next guy and I'm glad someone has had the cohones to put name to a vote. I know it's day 1 and there's not a lot to go off of just yet, but why so certain about Zhao? Just a hunch or what?

Aren't you one as well? To be honest, the biggest surprise I had this morning reading this thread wasn't that there had been three deaths, but that you had made it through the night. You're one of the few people that knows the playstyles of the majority of the players since you frequent both the community and SP forums enough to have a good gauge on just about everyone. Seems like a major liability to me.

Anyway, there's still quite a few people that haven't posted (and that's okay for now), but I want to stress that if we don't get a lynch every single day, then the town loses out on its potential to kill mafiosos. Quite simply, its only power.

So, to help reach that magic 10, I'm gonna throw my vote into the Zhao pool for the moment. No hunches, I was just terribly disappionted in his response to the first two votes. From his SP play, we can usually count on him to throw out at least a couple non-sensical tables and a pot full of over-analyzations.

Personally, I'm not sure whether the "favorite mod" reference was to the mods of this forum, or the mod hosting the game. I suspect it's the latter.

I notice alot of people are voting for Zhao, presumably because of his mention in the note. The problem I have with this is that it means whoever the killer is is not only controlling who gets killed at night, but who also gets lynched during the day.

Well Liq I guess our engagement is off, then? :wink2: That could have been a note from you. The wording seems SPFer to me. I'm known for favouring vodka as a tipple and the mention of ZY I believe is a smoke screen. The fact it mentions favourite Mod, I take to be Gorny and that lead me to Orphan.

There isn't much to go on on day one but much as I can see the attraction for killing ZY (reduce the post count mainly), I have to go my own way.

I can't believe all the votes against Zhao at the moment. I don't see the connection between his name being in the note, and him being part of the killing party(ies). If anything, it would seem the opposite. Of course, that's also what they might want us to think.

It's unfortunate that more players this round did not play last round of Community Mafia. The killer seems to have a style very similar to someone involved in that game. Does the reference to Gorny being a 'favorite mod' strike anyone as suspicious?

Any more details to this story for me and the rest of the SP crew here? Instead of just throwing out "you should have been here's", fill us in and get us up to speed. Working together trumps dying alone.
