Re: OT: Favorite fast foods
It's a local joint so you non-Coloradoans are out of luck, but there's a sub-shop in Boulder named Half-Fast Subs (... say it out loud, you'll get it :grin

. They have a lot of 'specialty' subs, but the best I've tried is definitely the 'Thanksgiving Dinner'. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, etc... yummy.
Also, there was a deli in downtown Denver that I really liked too (when our old office was there, 5+ years ago). The selection wasn't exotic, it's just that they used top-quality ingredients for everything (vine ripened tomatoes that are actually ripe, fresh-baked-from-the-oven bread, avocados that were ripe but unbruised, etc.).
Now though, other than the occasional veggie or tuna sub from the Subway down the road, I try to stay away from fast food (not that I always succeed). Other than convenience and laziness, I don't see the point in spending more money, for less food, and liking it less than my own cooking (which is much healthier)...

... oh yeah, now I remember the point of fast food. :hide:
