Aww here wipe your eyes laddie *gives corax a hankerchief*
Here's a cookie too. Feel better?

We would miss you corax, but we can't miss you 'cause you're always here :p

too true rizzo.
i wonder where method has been. i mean he WAS getting the heating and stuff fixed up in his house but that should be all done now..... oh... maybe hes taken our advice seriously and gone out and got himself one of those things, you know..uhhhmmm.. a life..*gasp* :cheesy: the sheer mindboggling ness of it

as soon as i get a job ill be lurking around here less. still waiting for word from the supermarket people. supposed to have contacted me early lastweek. whether i got it or not. so im guessing no go there anyway

The driving thing is pretty harsh. In Uk, you can get a provisional and start driving on your 17 birthday, and take the test as soon as you want from there.

Drinking at 15 rizzo ?! Thats crazy. Its 18 over here.

the drinking law here is 18 until you can by alcohol. but quiet drinks in your own home under adult supervision is allowed at 16
driving laws are. learners at 16. provisional at 17. 2nd provisional at 18. full license at 20. thats the earliest you can do it

anyway im off to bed. its tuesday. cyas  catch y'all tomoro. im always here you know :surprise:

How D all, I am here!...sorry I have been away for the last few days. Im ready to make comments *cracks his nuckles*. Im afraid that things have been tough this weekend for me....and I mean really tough. Turns out that Im going to indefinately retire from martial arts *gasps and covers his face......sighs heavily* and also I will be indefinately quitting D2 *a female in the audience screams "Ahhhh!" and a male voice says "The Horror!"* . Long story but thats how its gotta be.......

For the record: In the good ol USA you can get your driving liscense at 16 (some states are even younger) but you cant drink until your ... get this 21! You can be called up by the draft and die for your country but still cant drink a single beer legally......insanity I tell you.

@all of you - I am glad to hear that you are doing well in your personal lives/relationships, tis a good thing to be reading.

@corax - The sailing idea hit the nail on the head that sounds awesome. Totally romantic. I like the picnic on the other side too. If the day is warm and sunny that would be perfect. As for the drink how bout some sparkling cider....close to champagne or real cider but no alcohol. They use Martinelli's Sparkling Cider over here for kids on new years....tastes great...good substitute .... no alcohol. And I dont know about the poem thingy....a lil to corny for me, but hey...hes our bacon for a reason  . I would write her a gift with long letter and give it to her to read later.....it gives the date some longevity. Then she will be anticipating her gift and letter, waiting to open it (dont let her until she goes home) and as soon as she gets home and she will rush to open and read it. Say some emotional/romantic stuff and she will be thinking about it all night cuz your gone.

@Rizzo - Hey now.....just because he didnt watch a movie doesnt mean he wouldnt have gotten the same results or even better if he did  Some of my best times have been watching (or not watching, hehehe) movies with girls. But Im a movie buff so personal preference rules here and method made his call. hehehe Thanks for noticing I was gone!

@Method - nice work, sounds like it went off well. Whens the next one?

@FrolfFreak - welcome to our lil OT.

yes.. i'm interested too, if you dont mind of course
MORNING!!!!!

Hey all,

Well Tuesday today, Melbourne Cup day (horse racing for those not in the know). Pretty much the whole country stops for the afternoon to gamble.

I'm sitting at work waiting for a quote to come back and then I'll shut the doors for the afternoon and join the masses at the track.

Am nursing a hangover today, the first I've had for a long time (6months), my health took a dive around that time and I was (still am) on some shitty medication that does wonderful things to your liver. On the bright side it's amazing the money you save when not going out!

Back to the hangover, I tell you what, last night was the last time I go to the Casino..... I love blackjack, it just doesn't love me

@Corax - I'll go with rizzo on this one. Take her to the beach, though I'd strongly recommend against a poem  No offence Rizzo, I just don't know anyone that could pull it off with out being laughed at!

@Rizzo - over a year with the GF is a good effort, I've been with my current girl nearly a year and going well. Any plans to get hitched (married)????

@Ronin - I'll add to the chorus of those seeking enlightenment :hanky:

I been kinda busy the last few days, so there's ya reason I aint been around..

Reason I been busy - The second of two goth weekends was over this past weekend, so I been out drinking, and staring at some rather .. nice .. outfits as modelled by some rather good looking womenfolk ;)

Not sure when, or even if, but I'm hoping to get some pics off the people that took cameras out with them over the last couple of days, if I get some, I'll throw you guys some linkage so you can see just what kind of outfits these people wear.. oh, and there may be the odd shot of me here and there too :)

damn RL stealing our precious SPF'ers
good to hear youve got a life method. thats one up on me
not much today. just doing sometidying and stuff. its stormy so i didnt get to go sailing. tomoro hopefully

Stormy sailing's the best kind of sailing. I love it when you bounce up and down the waves. Man, i love sailing. Can't wait for summer :)

trust me silo. you wouldn't of wanted to be out today. this was like the big nasty setp-sisters of stormirella. and sitting in the middle of a big open area in what is essentially a lightning rod isnt the best of ideas
cleared up now though. so tomro hopefully

Of course, though mny years will still pas before that. I love her more than anything, and I would do anything for her, but we won't marry for at least the next 6 years. I don't mind though. I'm confident that she'll have me when the time comes :)

Hi Corax :howdy:

hey rizzo
gonzo thats him. ive been racking my brain for hours trying to think of the blue muppets name who hangs out with rizzo the rat. woo i did it :drink:

the storm is over now. yay.

hey rizzo, why have the two of you put a date on it? i mean. whats in the next 6 years that would prohibit marriage if it came to that?
how old are you btw? i cant remember

I haven't put a date on it, but in 6 years I will be 30 (that makes me 24 :)). She's 18 now, and understandable she'd like to wait with marriage and all that. I would like to wait too. I want a real grand marriage, and I want to be a hundred percent certain that I marry the woman of my dreams (I'm certain now, but I haven't lived with her yet, so I've something to learn yet).

Hehe yeah Gonzo... Animal is fun too :D

wow didnt know you were that old. i would of placed you as earlier 20's. 21-22. heh. i want to wait to find the right person before i marry to. but i dont want to be 30 as 30 to me seems to late to be having children..if i want children as you'll be 40 when they're 10. not too bad i suppose, but id prefer to be late twenties at worst. our next door neighbours are 58(man) and 46(woman) and have a 8, a 6 and a 3 yr old. thats just not right

Agreed, but I think as a male it would fit best if I were to be around 30-33 years of age to have my first child. This way I should also make enough money to safely raise the child and take good care of it, no matter what happens in my life. The child comes first always. My beloved girl, who's name is Anne Kathrine would then be around 24-27 and would've finished her education. This way we can both have an education without the trouble of raising a kid in the meantime. I think it's best for a child to be raised in safe enviroments, and a 20 year old dad just don't have the responsability to raise a kid.. imo.

Silo: How do you like your new sword?

Hey all,

How goes your day? I hope things are well with you all. Things are going "ok" with me too. What I mentioned before...well.....let me give you a little history....

I am 23 yrs old, although most of you probably know that. The thing is I kinda grew up pretty fast. I have been working in corporate America as a software engineer for sometime, and I have been married for sometime as well.

My job demands alot of time, and at least twice a week, sometimes even more I was working 11+ hours a day and then going to martial arts class afterwords. In LA, its also not easy to live in the inner city (unless you want to die) so I live 35 miles from work which means I also commute at least 1 hour to work and 1 hour back. So 11+ hours and 2 hours commute + training for at least 2 times a week (sometimes it has gotten up to 4-5) = ronin's a busy bee who is barely at home. On top of that we got a home that well....needs some work so to speak. We also have a 70 lb puppy who is a little ball of energy. Since I am the primary "bread winner" my job is usually to make the money....while my wife takes care of the homefront (she works but considerably less than I do). The trouble was that the homefront was beginning to be too much for her. With her work/caring for the puppy in our home that needs serious work it was too overwhelming and she conveyed this to me by blowing up on me. :) For you guys who are just with GF's and what not this is not really a big thing....when your married, sharing money/bills, planning your life, building a kingdom together issues far more serious than some trivial problems are created. While it was important it was not overly dramatic or catasrophic or anything. The key is to deal with them appropriately....and so I did. I have readjusted my schedule to limit the number of hours I work each day, and I have indefinately retired from martial arts and D2, at least until the puppy and the home are in decent enough shape for my wife to handle the homefront comfortably and with ease. When things are easier for her, and life is not so hard for us in our youth, then I will return to my two loves. Perhaps Ill sneak a few pindle runs in now and again and a MP game when we can arrange one. I dont have to totally quit I suppose....but I will have to severly limit it as my time is slim and should be dedicated to fixing up my home. I have been doing martial arts for years now so I know the routine....and I will try and set up a little gym in my home where I can train alone....it wont be as good as with a coach but it will keep me in almost top form and in good shape. I will try to return in a year or two. I will NOT be quitting the SPF or my involvement here...as I participate from work. ;)

On a side note...Ill be hosting a giveaway - combined from the stashes of oblivious, oapwm, and myself so if you guys want anything PM me. Ill post the fara reports in a few. All the itemz are on my flash drive which I accidently left at home so it will have to wait till tomorrow at the earliest.

@silo - thanks for the eth items. ill go through my stashes and pull out some gearz to help your frenzy or javazon.

@ oapwm - dont worry bud I will be able to schedule some time to MP with you and I can still handle the giveaway. D2 just cant be a daily thing like it used to be. Can you give me a list of your assasins full gear? Unfortunately the itemz in the stash wearnt all to cut out for a MA sin. Lemme know what primary skills you are using too. Ill see what we can do. As I said earlier fara reports should come out tomorrow or so.

@rizzo/grogs/corax - thanks for your inquiries, nice to chat with peeps about things that are tough in life.
