I've got a 1.11 one you can borrow if you want, but it's in a PB, so the dex req is high, although at least it is a +5BO one.
Cheers Colony, but yeah, looks like it's banned.

Anyone who knows how much HF rushing I've done knows that an Ohm used to be pocket change for me:wink3:
colony said:I'd have to agree with some of Nex's questions, it's not as if desynching only happens with charge/vigour on, and it also isn't random, if you try to spot it then it can be predicted. And yes, there is skill involved, not just random luck.
colony said:Also, why count having over 30 MDR as a source of absorb? The main sources of magic damage in PvP are PnB skills and hammers, both of which already do massive damage, and taking even 50 damage off them won't make them too ineffectual, not to mention it's very hard to get any where near that number without a lot of gear switches.
colony said:I have an inkling that a couple of build combinations are going to be very powerful in this and there won't be too much that can be done about it. I'm not trying to criticisize, but those are a couple of points that stood out to me.

no Ive remade a character I used to little effect in the last tourney but cannot use full trangs with the full set bonus he would have +30 life replenish. I love the rules pallys arent killed but other character builds have a better chance now
Desync without vigor would reduce the chance of it occurring. A paladin appearing on your minimap then suddenly being attacked by an invisible force is not easy to counter. I beg to differ; shift charging is pretty easy to do.
It is, but so are a lot of skills when you combine them with another class, such as:Also I think vigor in a team is pretty strong.
Bone spirit still does about 3.5k damage if maxed out with +15 skills, not hard to do even with only 5 skillers. BH does about 2.6k. Taking away 30 from these isn't going to have too much of an effect. It's a minor point anyway though as it's hard to get lots of MDR without losing far better mods from other items.Spell damage will be lower overall, so this is to prevent people from double absorbing with MDR to minimize or completely negate damage. Remember, this is modified GM rules.
None should be unkillable on their own, but certain combinations stand out, more so than just a standard short range + long range team. I don't want to give too much away here, but I've never done many team duels, so MSN might work better for it (especially because I might have forgotten something).Do tell what might be too powerful. I’d like to try to balance the classes if I can.
How are the teams being set up? No fixed teams pretty much means you have to be ready for anything opponent and teamwise, can you make deals with people (as in ''if I bring this char you can bring that one for a mighty fine team'') or will there be some sort of round robin once you enter the game?
Colorless Green said:I'd actually prefer some sort of round robin, if it's possible to make it a rule. It's a suggestion in the official rules, and there's also a rule about not being able to partner with the same char more than three times which seems to push for this sort of thing, but if you were to set up a 3 person team with two chars each, you could do almost all of your duels with chars built to take advantage of each other.Sint said:How are the teams being set up? From what I've seen, the goal of this tourney seems to be to make things accessible to those of us who aren't heavy pvp'ers. Setting up a mandatory (when possible, of course - if time constraints prevented it I'd rather see one set of duels than none) round robin would help to prevent outright domination by the more experienced and the people with the time/wealth to put together team-based dueling chars.
