Officially cant trust anyone on BNET! GRR!

Why did i think i can trust anyone on bnet,... ?
I dunno, maybe i thought there were some people there who didnt value this game so high they'd steal from other players...

And im unsurprisingly wrong AGIAN!
BAH

My Story:

After Shaperla closed all my trade threads because of the spam i created, i decided to let go of my paranoid self and try trading for a anni on BNET, not just BNET, NL. Where all the dupers and cheaters live. Well i tried to think that there might be some decent people who wouldnt scam or try to, like on here; i suppose.
Before i was about to go to bed i decided to try to trade for one. So i made a game and waited, some people showed up, and we discussed, i arranged for a private normal game to be made.
He wanted to go to act 2 because it was "safer". I thought something fishy was going on, but then i thought to myself that i was being paranoid again. So i let it go... he stood on top of the palace balcony and i stood on the bottom, i still couldnt fully trust him so i dropped one rune and ran for it and he did too, up the stairs my diablo froze, and then i realized i had just lost my rune.
I wasnt surprised, who wouldnt try to rip off a poor man with 2 runes. This wasnt the first time i was scammed, nor 2nd, nor 3rd.

So yeah now... i feel like quiting...

Just wanted to share :/.

I never trade annihs w/o a trusted mod from a forum. Yes it has to be a MOD, i got scammed once from a VERY trusted member of a different forum. He was so trusted that even after he admitted scamming me it took 2 hours for the forum to stop saying 'something is wrong here', and black list him. AFTER HE ADMITTED IT!!!

Only trade annih's with somone who is very very trust worthy, or they will drop first (rarely happens), and be ready to take screen shots of you whispering his account name and him replying and entering and taking items etc. If not no one will belive you.

Sorry for the loss but it happens to the best of us. Ill drink one for ya. :drink:

s&s youve prolly got the most worst luck on b net other than me. :)

well i hope you can get back to your feet once again. (not too bad of a loss) and hopefully start trusting people in the FORUMS at least.

hi there,

dude, you don't wanna know how often this is happened to me, now when i want an annihilus i only try to get to trade it from forum members.
Really there are some dirty people there. I drink alot for YOU :p :buddies:

hey some of us trustworthy ones still exist... :)

We're just a dying breed amidst the majority of a$$hats on bnet these days...

"i only try to get to trade it from forum members."

Every trade I have done with someone on these forums has been very good. Trading with joe blow on bnet you have to be very carefull, I lost a cold gc way back in an anni trade. I am almost off work, so i will have a dozen or so(beers) for you :xgift:

Being paranoid is the reason why in 1 year of playing D2 I still havnt gotten my first Anni :xflash:

Always trade Annis between the outside of town in act 1. Not the ramp but the gate connecting to the outside. Also, make sure both characters that are trading the anni and the items are on Level 1 characters so the other person will not run faster than you but at the same speed. Heh, if I had an extra anni, I would give it to everybody that got scammed. Anywho, gl on upcoming trades.

When are you gonna learn?
You've been scammed like what 10times now?
Stop posting this crap seriously, you go one day without getting scammed then you get scammed the next..
Then decide to share it with people like they are gonna give you their hard earned gear because you are too dumb to know when your about to get scammed.
Every 2-3 days i see you posting a new topic saying something about scamming, it's your own fault.
Get over it.

EDIT: Sorry for your loss, but you don't need to post here everyday you get scammed.. learn how to protect yourself and use it to your advantage.
