Sen Ted Cruz a lawyer and career politician married to the managing director of Goldman Sachs....

"The Republican Party is not the party of the country clubs, it’s the party of hardworking, blue-collar men and women."

The defacto leader of the GOP owns and lives in a country club that would have any *blue collar worker arrested for trespassing if they stepped one foot inside the gate.

*unless they were the plumber hired to unclog the Golden Shitter.

The USA has no blue collar party. If there was one, it would be regarded as socialistic. The GOP is currently the party for the dumbasses. Sorry for saying it like that, but but I cannot take the GOP any serious until they disassociate from Trump and his embarrassing and partly despicable cronies.

Despite the best efforts of the left's propaganda mongers, most blue collar people in the U.S. still understand that socialism doesn't work as advertised and is in reality about as anti-blue collar as you can get. Even most SJWs turn away from it if you somehow manage to break through their preconceptions and show them just what it is they've been blindly cheerleading for. That said, I can't say I'm comfortable with the current relationship between the GOP and Trump either. It's not that I buy into any of the slander and lies the left has been vomiting out about him for the last four years. I just don't think they should be following the democrat celebrity worship playbook. GOP voters are chiefly concerned about policy issues, not identity politics.

I never got into it, but my wife's a YUGE fan. Assuming you mean the entire *old* TV series, where did you find it?
I'd like to know as well. There's a 24/7 channel for it on pluto.tv but it's not "stream on demand".

Yes, the old series from 1966 onwards. I find it therapeutic to watch. Sometimes hilarious.

Obtained through membership with Amazon Prime. I'm hoping I complete the re-watch before Prime joins Netflix in going full-pedo and I bail out.

I had to junk Netflix due to their "Cuties" series.
Dear Goat, what a time to be alive. Prime is already on borrowed time on the basis that Amazon is the commercial arm of an evil empire run by ... hang on, someone at the door, BRB ...

Quite hilarious, kris, given the Democrat Party is essentially led by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

A woman who not only doesn't know what a garbage disposal is, but is afraid of one.

Choose which evil seems the lesser, I suppose. Given the Presidential penchant for pedophilia, Cuties was probably supported by the Obamas.

It's not overly amusing that Amazon not only is now the gatekeeper of which books will be written & sold, but that they removed a Clarence Thomas biography movie (apparently fairly good) during Black History Month.

ObaMao gets loadsmoney from NetPedes. Them mansions don't pay for themselves.

The enormity of removing CT's biography from the Store would break any reasoning being's irony meter ... yet it would not even register for a Dem as anything other than a narrative necessity.
Remarkable, really.

Speaking of ironing, I read today that #SCoaMF & Big Mike are going to throw their support behind this project:

Just What You’ve Been Waiting For: Obamas to Produce All-Muslim Podcast for Ramadan

So I guess all the screeching & hooting about how everyone to the right of Stalin was a devout believer in the Seekrit Moozlim** conspiracy theory is no longer of use?

** The conspiracy theory is based on Obama saying on more than one occasion "I am one of you" and wearing a ring with the Islamic Shahada as evidence that he's a follower of Islam. While he is nominally Muslim, having recited the Shahada regularly as a youth, the reality is that he would be considered an apostate (i.e. worse than a Christian, and maybe even worse than a Jew) by Islamist/hardcore doctrine. He certainly has no other god but himself.

P.S. Boyo was just admitted to SUNY Binghamton, which is nice. He's supposedly a guaranteed transfer to Cornell, but just in case they decide to screw with him (and he doesn't get a better offer from Dartmouth) then it's good to have them as a "safety".

He still kinda resents my wife & I pointing out that we wouldn't support him going to Colby for a year and then transferring to Cornell &c. because it would mean $18K was wasted for nothing but a credit count. He still likes Colby but apparently their transfer options are limited...

Illinois lawmakers just recently proposed a ban on violent video games. Specifically Grand Theft Auto. They say it's the cause for the recent rise in carjackings in Chicago this last year. The evidence? "Because these young people are doing moves just like in the video game where they bump someone's car, violently pull them out of the car and drive off." I'm not kidding, that's their argument.

Now, just for the sake of context in case someone reading this spent the last thirty years trapped in a cave somewhere, Grand Theft Auto has been around since the 1990s and is one of the best selling franchises in the industry. GTA 5, which released in 2013, currently holds the number two spot for best selling single video game of all time. There's almost one copy sold for every two or three people living in the U.S. today.

Now, you might ask yourself "So what's the number one game then?" Well unless you're one of those people who counts every variation of Tetris as a single game, the answer to that question is Minecraft, with over 50 million more copies sold than GTA 5. You know what we don't see a whole lot of?

We've been through this song and dance many times before, and it comes out of both parties. Politicians like to use this as a convenient scapegoat to distract from the consequences of their own policies. Unfortunately since it's politicians who make the rules, there's still a chance they could push something through.

I cannot remember that I've ever praised the Democrats, so what's your point here? That my opinion on cockroaches being bad is invalid because I haven't said anything bad about sewer rats in the same sentence?

On a slightly different note, and hopefully one less blatantly political (it was picked up by conservative online sources because the perps are from a deep "blue" county)...

An enterprising investigative journalist took up a case where a judge had awarded a 14-year-old girl's custody to her reportedly sexually abusive father, had bullied the girl in court, and had sentenced the defendant mother to court-ordered psychological counseling.

The mother was suing the legally appointed guardian ("GAL"), a psychologist, and a clinical social worker for falsifying the grounds for which the mother was sentenced, as well as potentially having been paid by the father.

Well, this journalist managed to obtain Zoom transcripts of those from the court system the judge belongs to calculating the potential damage to themselves as well as a wide selection of other nefarious or at least unsavory discussions. Upon release, THE ENTIRE COUNTY DISTRICT COURT RECUSED ITSELF.

Unfortunately, impeachment and/or prosecution of judges for misconduct is extremely rare in America. There's a never-ending drumbeat of cases where judges release people who are patent dangers to the community, and then pretend to have had nothing to do with the issue once the perpetrators escalate their conduct.

That is just his daily dig at the GOP's most fear boogeywoman. She scares him.

Condemning the GOP as the 'party for the dumbasses' is a value judgement, as if dumbasses don't join the Democrat Party. It ignores the far greater and more frequent degree of stupidity, ignorance, and just plain retarded behavior from the Democrat side.

Democrat members are notably worse than the GOP but given you're a slave to your biased German media like many Leftist Americans are to MSNBCNN, and don't bother to recognize or even check whether the claims are valid or proportional, it's hardly surprising you're baaa-ing the same line as the rest of the sheep.

The GOP *is* often referred to as "the stupid party" while the DNC is "the Evil party", but that's just sloganeering; when GOP denizens say stupid or vile things they're often hounded out of the Party (case in point was the older Republican politician making a poor joke about birth control involving a woman keeping her knees together).

Besides, P.J. O'Rourke's quote is far more valid -
"The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it."

*Currently* for the dumbasses.

BTW, maybe the Democrats are for the other dumbasses in my opinion. Buit I haven't spoken about them so far. I did on earlier occasions, however.
