odd gloves O_O

I've found a strange pair of gloves. Their English name should be "demonic gloves" or something like that (I'm using the Italian version of the game), the name is white as it was a normal item, it has 3 durability and 25 defence, no special features. And what exactly is strange about them?

I think the exceptional version of these leather gloves are the Demonhide Gloves; don't remember the elite name (Bramble mitts?).

it's just the exceptional version of "Leather Gloves" which acn be found in nightmare mode only (without expansion).

There are several strange things about these gloves. Maybe it's a problem of translation, but I don't think so.

Basically, "guanti del demonio : danno subito" means "gloves of the demon: they give fast (or rapidly)".

What's more, according to the arreat summit :

- The durability for Demonhide Gloves should be 12, and not 3...
- The defense for Demonhide Gloves sould be 28-35 and here, it's 25...
- The Strength required is correct (20)
- The Level requirement is incorrect (it's 21 and it should be 24)...

Really strange :scratch:...

They are the "low quality" variant which is why the 25 defence and 3 durability in english they would read something like 'cracked demonhind gloves'.

The level requirement is different on low quality items, the rlvls are a bit funny and should not be mentioned in the arreat summit item pages as they are, the rlvl can be different than what is posted on the website. its probably lower since its a "cracked" item.

You may be translating it to 'they were made hastely' as in, with out care of quality.

I see nothing odd with them.

besides the low durability, the thing which surprises me most is that it has a name as it was a magic or unique item but it is written in white letters O_O riplix said that it's an item that can be found only in nigthmare mode only, but I was playing in normal. I suspect that it may be an error of the program itself...?

Nah, I'm quite sure you can find them at the end of Normal (Act 5 for instance) as well.

That seems a good explanation to me. It fits my first theory of translation issue .
