Now I remember why I played Single Player...

Battle.net always randomly lags!! I can't even join and create games but the new patches always ignore SP

I'm still on Bnet because I want to try the new 1.13 patch but hopefully they will bring ubers/Diablo Clone into SP. Unlikely though since... who the hell would sell SOJs in SP? (Not duped SOJs of course)

Makes it harder to blame lag when you die in SP.

I have played a few HC MP games, SP players often forget about the possibility and I've seen a few (even high level) characters die to (proclaimed) lag.

Yeah if you're playing international it just takes a few dropped packets and you're out of sync for just a moment, then BAM, willowisps are on ya! you were spamming rejuv but nothing happened,

Those ubers and the torchs are rubbish items anyway, come back to the SP fold

And don't forget ATMA or GoMule!! Infinite stashes and worry free instant muling!!! That was one thing that drove me batty on Bnet, sitting around for 5 minutes then still rolling the dice on if you're mule would be succesfull then having to keep a log of who has what etc etc.

Oh oh and static maps!

I could go on but you get the idea. Just remember how much easier it was. and with RWM you can still get all the juicy runewords.

I played on a wireless connection from Australia to US West .. I used to always be out of sinc

I completely forgot about static maps!!! But when I played SP, I wasn't really alone because I usually TCP/IP with a couple of friends and it was pretty cool.

Has anyone tried to start a D2 Hamachi group?
