Not all players are hackers, dupers, or scammers

I've read a lot of posts about being hacked or scammed and we all know the extent of duped items on bnet. But today I found at least one honest player still out there. I was in a game when the SoJ counted started going nuts. DClone "walked the earth" and I spawned him in the Stony Field. Well, I tried for a while, but it seems that prevent monster heal doesn't work on DClone. I hop into the channels and basically announce that I have DClone in a passworded game and I can't kill it. Luckily I picked the right person to invite to my game. They killed DClone and didn't even steal the anni. These are the types of people we need more of on bnet.

Oh, not a perfect anni 14/15/9, but I'll take it

Yep... and if you need DClone/ xfer or any other kind of help in the future, yu can always try to get one of the trusted members in these forums.

My guess is that the invited person already had an anni, thus couldn't pick the new one dropped up, and didn't dare to switch in case his was better. :azn:

Lol there has never been a shortage of cynics on Bnet

haha lorv but you are forgetting he wouldn't have bothered helping in the first place as he knew in advance if he could pick up or not.
I say he found an honest person!

Nah, what really happened was he had whispered a friend on his list to come in and scoop up the anni. He couldn't very well risk dropping his anni and have the other guy get it, could've been lower than the one he had as pointed out already. His plan would've worked too, if it hadn't been for the repeated "Failed to Join" message that his accomplice kept getting. :azn:

So you see, the thread title should've read, "FTJS, friend or foe?"

Yup i know that, i have met a few good people on Bnet and not by this site. They exist, but after being scammed and hacked so many times, i dont know what to say anymore. Alot of the Bnet population is corrupted.

Hey, who says NO to a free bunch of exp? Dclone is like normal bosses, only cooler and no freaking seals to open, crowded with OK's and other nasty stuff.

Cynic? Ah, well. Krang does not approve.

I knew it was too good to be true...I never thought I'd be happy to hear about a "Failed to Join" message.
