noob zealots these days are so full of themselves...

this is the thread for a zealot guide some dude posted on diabloforums (im a member of 4 different d2 forums btw), and i find the replies to be rather disturbing. (this is exactly why i love rpgforums lol)

scroll near the bottom and u'll see some serious tension between me (ArcaneSupremacy there), and a so-called zealot expert and his little dog.

im not trying to win any popularity contests there or anything, but if they keep giving me these smart-*** replies, im gonna need some back-up from u guys.

i tried to help...i really did. if i had my zealot fully equipped id go and pwn that guy.

Lol i saw that too.My little bro is osidon on those forums.Yeah i like how he disregards all shields but exile.Eth alma is an awesome zealot shield as is ss and zak all of which in my opinion smashes exile.If his def is that low with exile,thats not too good.Ive heard figures from some of the zealot guys around here claiming 40k def with an ss,alma,zak setup.

I dont have an acct there, but its really neat in his sshots how after he casts holy sheild that he also gains about 500 hit points...

I'm betting he had someone give him a shout to try and prove you wrong there azn, and accidnelty let a bo slip?
 
ok that Myth dude chilled out a bit lol. Temple and PalaPk duelists DO NOT MIX.

about his 500 health boost, i think its his cta. a barb's BO would be much higher. thats some pretty low health even with BO lol.

This kid smokes too much dope. It affects his judgment, coordination and perception of reality. Let it slide...don't waste the breath to spew forth venomous words in his direction. He is not worth your time and energy and I would disregard him as one of the lower forms of God's creations.
 
I say let them make their zealots the way they wish. We have said it a number of times,30k-40k Defense, anything after 30k is not gravy its diminshed. only a minimal chance to hit goes upfrom 30-40. not worth it.

Levi for armor? Sure thats good in some cases but not all.

as for choices on items.....i've seen better options at a car show then on that guide.

The-Professor gives that guide 0 out of 5 Stars.

But on the other hand, it would be nice to have more zealots made like that....i could some new people to kill in pubby's.

His strategy section is truly astonishing. Apparently zealing is the only way to fight anyone and there are no other skills on your skill tree.

16k ar , 7kdamage, 11kdefense and only 1089 life??

....I dont recall any temple zealot having stats like that.... Even people in pubby dont use exile any more....at least not in zeal pk(West)

Before Bo, most if not all zeak pk pala / temple pala / and ch. al have minimum of 1700+ life.

I would like to duel that guy....so he can prove to me how great his setup is.
 
His life is pretty hilarious.1k life is pitiful for any character.Most good sorcs have got more than that.My zealot i made a while back had over 1100 life at lvl 47 or 48.Topped out he was something like 1500 life with no bo and highly subpar items.Sum1 with a good zealot should face him and show him the error of his ways.
 
I would like to post a disclaimer here. For starters, please never include the word "noob" in any posts here, nor the variations of the word (i.e. nube, newb, n00b, nuub, n008). This is the most pitiful personal attack that can possibly be made, and it only hurts your credibility. Second, the guy is indeed full of himself, but by sitting here making fun of his guide, we are assuming the superior role as well. Regardless of whether this is true or not, it is rude. This whole Temple vs. Palapk thing will never be settled, so let them write their guides for their style of play.
 
is that guide written by a east zealot or west..

and another feature i wish blizzard would patch into the game..

Cross Forum capabilities.

East vs West battles.....East / west trades. etc...

picture that...4west , 4 east zeal duels..how neat....
