Alright, here's optimal gear for the summoning necro,
Helm: Um'ed Shako
Amulet: Maras
Shield: Homunculus (or +3 Boneflame if you already have stacked resists)
Shield 2: Lidless (spirit isnt worth the extra strength)
Weapon 1: Hoto
Weapon 2 (Switch): CTA Flail/Crystal Sword
Armor: Dusk Enigma
Belt: Arach
Rings: Sojs/Bks (preference, I personally like one of each)
Boots: Treks (marrowwalks only adds about 50 extra damage, and for me that just isnt enough to throw in extra strength for, besides, we all know thatt 99% of D2 is about style)
Gloves: Magefists (Resists can be gotten from other means, and the 25% mana regen and +1 Fire for CE is too good to pass up)
Inventory
Necro Torch
Anni
7x Summon Skillers (with either life or fhr as 2nd mod)
Resist scs/fhr scs/lifer scs (whichever you need/prefer more, I personally went with the lifer and fhr scs)
Merc
Weapon: Eth CA Infinity
Armor: Sup Elite Armor CoH
Helm: Guillaimes Face (the 35% cb gives you a total of 75% on your merc, making him unbeatable, but hold a kiras in stash for uber meph's conviction, which will make your merc take a beating)
This is pretty much it, and personally
Infinty >>>>>>>> Pride, as whatever ppl say, they are not killing at full speed unless they are spamming CE everywhere, and Infinity not only gives your merc great damage (pride doesnt have any on-wep ed%) but it also greatly boosts your CE damage, meaning that with monsters amp'ed and conviction'ed, they will be taking 115-192% (hurried math, may be a bit off) of the corpses damage, compared to the 90-150% with only amp on, in hell, with corpses with massive hp, that can turn into thousands of damage difference, and with conviction + amp, there is NO chance that the enemy can survive your CE unless they heavily fire and phy resistant, somethin that cant be said about no conviction.
As a summoner, your skeles are one thing and one thing only, MEAT SHIELDS, they protect your merc and yourself (the real dmg dealers) from being killed, and the main strong points of the summoner is to let their 4-5k avg dmg merc grab a kill, and then they CE the corpse, killing EVERY monster on the screen, in ONE cast, something that will take your skeles about 3-5 seconds to do.
