Need help on Smiter

I need help with the gear on my smiter. I'm not sure what amulet and rings to get.

Right now I just have a rare +1 paladin skills amulet with +11 all resists and some bad mods

For rings, I use Raven Frost, Carrion Wind, and Nature's Peace

They don't seem like the right ones to use. What should I get? I'm not looking to spend like 10hr per piece. Maybe unique item suggestions or mods to look for in a rare item.

What are you aiming to do with your smiter? PvP? General PvM? Uber-Trist?

If PvP, then your ammy is probably not going to cut it.

If you're primarily using him for killing the ubers, I'd say keep the Raven Frost, and add a Dwarf Star (for fire absorb). Otherwise, maybe go for 1 Raven (for CBF - that is if you're not getting that mod from anything else), and 1 BK ring for the skill and the extra life. Or, get a rare ring with high life, high resists, and high str or dex bonuses.

Maras or Rare +2 pally frw/str/res ammy

Raven frost, Rare ring res/life/str

A smiter with balanced res/DR gears should carry on getting gears which adds life, its almost the same gears for PvP and PvM unless you are a tele-smiter which requires some tweaking e.g- Natures peace(minion stacking), Fcr rings res/str/life(tele fcr). Hope it helps =)

I'm mostly using it for Uber-Trist and sometimes fun duels (against non-godly people). When I can afford a Last Wish PB, I'm going to replace my Guil's Helm with a Kiras which will give me my Cannot Be Frozen.

That means I won't be needing the Ravenfrost in the end. So I should use Dwarf Star and BK Ring?

I'm probably not going to be able to max out sacrifice. I have smite maxed out with 1 point in zeal now. Would it be useful to add a point into Salvation?
