My Light Sorc

I'm sick of everyone giving light sorcs a bad name in pvp, so I'm gonna make one that has fast speed, high life and sick dmg and see how it does. My skils will be

20 lightning
20 cb
20 cl
20 light mast

Stats:
Str: 70 Base (77 with equip)
Dex: base
Vit: ALL
Energy: Still workin on this one...

Gear
Um Shako
28 Maras
+3 Lightning, 14% light skill dmg ormus
+3/17% light eschutas
soj/ bk ring or soj/soj
arach
Trang gloves
waterwalks or sandstorms

Light skill gcs with life/mana/resists
scs of life/resists
anni

With this setup i should have good life, sick dmg and hit 120% fcr

With this setup... I would suggest using max block... if you want to be very widespread in your duels... I would go 2 pdiamond mosers or whistans guard... both have quite low dex req's for max block... otherwise you will die to any tele ww barb with nice res or other such things that you can block otherwise. Otherwise your FCR looks ok and all, although if sandstorm treks dont hit a FHR BP for you, I would go with silweaves because of the high mana cost of lightning spells... as for points in energy... if you use 2 sojs, arachs and silkweaves you can get by with no points easily.

I have a light sorc myself thats for dueling. (kinda) Its not too expensive and she does quite well if she can hit the target. Anyway this is her setup:

Why do you use magefists? I suggest using trangs gloves instead, much better resists and still 20% FCR.

thats where i disagree, magefists offer 1 to fireskills that can help with warmth and an addition to mana regain which can really save you, my sorcs can regain 2k mana in 30 seconds, while teleporting

Yes but at only 12% per lvl of warmth does that extra one point really mean as much as taking 30% less cold dmg? I suppose your arguement can stand when fighting some chars, but I think that the res and extra def make more of an impact in pvp.

You should all use bloodfists and get FCR elsewhere :clap:

Hehe good call... if you can get the FCR somewhere bloodfists are for sure much better... big FHR, big life... what more is there to ask for... and if you really wanna go crazy... make the best of that 10IAS!
