My first duel...kinda funny story
Well last night I was running tunnels with my 89 orb sorc for exp and try to find any goodies I could. I was joining games with people in them for more exp, and I saw one that said act 1 now or something, so I went in. WHen I went in I went to act 2 and was listening to a bunch of people talking crap. There was a 80 ish barb that was bragging about how he had enigma and botd and wanted to duel. BUt nobody would...there was even a 96 pally in there that said no. Well, I was thinking about it, but was like nope, I have never had the patience to get to 90 and I am really close now so why risk it.
Then people started saying, hey sorc why dont you duel him. Then someone with mh messaged me with his gear. He was wearing BK and wisp as his rings and gore riders were his boots. Cant remember what gloves but by that point it didnt matter, I had to duel him...
#1 we were in hell, so his resists wouldnt have been stacked
#2 no raven frost? The guy was obviously a moron....this really the clincher for me
#3 gorerides on a ww barb? The CB doesnt work with WW so whats the point? SO I messaged my friend with a barb and he came to loot in case I died with all the gear I worked insanedly hard for and he BO'd me... I figure with my 185 cm and -56% cold resists from doom (does this work with me or just him?) his cold resist would have been like -110 to -150 and no raven, so I had to try it..
Soooo, we went out and I teled out, and was really nervous I even forgot to click hostile in town, lol...I went back hostiled and teled back out. He took awhile to come out but he did and started tele'n and ww'n..I teled and spammed orbs and ne nicked me once, but I just lost half my mana bulb but no life....I then got a glimpse of his life and he was half gone, I was like wow, I have a chance, lol....I then hit him a couple more times and he chickened out 1 win for the good guys, lol....Everyone started laughing and giving him holy h*^% when he came back....I asked him to go again and he said sure...We went again and same thing, I chickened him out again. Then he came back in and told me my merc was slowing him down and I cant use him, lol....Anyways, it was great fun, and I cant wait to get my real lld/ pk'r going so I dont have to use my h89 sorc..... :lol: sorry about the rant but this whole thing kinda got my blood, going :lol:
