1 - Are fireclaw druids any good?
2 - Would this be any good for a fireclaws druid?

Yes FC Druids are good. No that helm is no good Jalas give the same amount of skills, and the rest is just better.
 
Thanks. I suspected as much. Jalal's doesn't get 2 sockets, but i guess the other massive stats on it more than makes up for it. 3rd question: Would it have beaten the unique(s) if it had +3 fire claws?

3 stormlashes and an eth horizon's later I found my first non-eth horizon's!

edit: Turns out I already had a better non-eth. Hmm, don't remember finding it.
edit 1.5: also just found 3 uniques from the chest in the pit: dirk, twin axe and demonhide boots

Ive had maybe at least 8 Horizolns, but no stormlash :/
 
0 Horizons, 1 Lash :p

Edit:

So it isn't spam; Mal and Um in LK, Pul by Countess and Lem in the Throne. Still no mid-level (Vex-Lo) runes for me :D

lol! this is very awesome and very true.
 
For the sake of completeness and before I forget to brag with it: On Friday, I found another Sur.

That makes Lo, Sur, Sur since I started on SP a few months ago.

For some reason I found 3 HRs and completed Tal's and IK, but I still haven't found things like an eth CV or a 5 socket phase blade or any other runes beyond Um, except Vex. I started going for socketables by doing p7 Tunnels with my meteorb, but all I find are stinking HRs :D. If I knew what to do with a single Ber rune, I would upgrade the Surs.

Vipermagi / 3 Piece Tal's on a sorc, Fortitude on most melee characters or Enigma on any non-sorc caster.
CoH is the most over rated runeword in the game.
