We had a good Thanksgiving with my Dad and Stepmom, although we had to watch the painful Bears game. It almost made me lose my appetite, but not quite. Later that night we finally managed to watch the end of Terminator 3. It was decent, but didn’t seem to add much to the overall storyline. Since it was called “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,†I was hoping for more machine rising.
I managed to play quite a bit of D2 over the break, and took my Windy-Zon-to-be through normal. I don’t have a great frame of reference, but I am guessing the Zon was the fastest character I have ever taken through normal. I did Baal runs to get her to level 50, at which point I jumped into NM long enough to check out my resists and clear the Den of Evil. My resists all range from -10 to -15. May want to work on those, huh?
I also played my IK-Barb-to-be, and he has just completed the socket quest. At the lofty level of 31, this is the oldest barbarian I have managed to play. I am wildly inept at whirlwind. I am trying to stay focused on this character, so let’s hope he can gain some solid levels now, and increase his killing speed. As it stands, he doesn’t seem to be the experience hog that my Zod is. Act 5 should fix that though, right? Please say yes, even if you have to lie to me. <insert Pinocchio joke here>
I am leaving in four hours, to head to a dentist appointment. Ick.
