---------------------------------------

And now... for the part everyone's been waiting for: The Looting Rules!

For each Catagory:

1st Place - picks 4 items from ANY other entrants (max 1 per entrant).
2nd Place - picks 3 items from ANY other entrants ranked below you (max
1 per entrant)
3rd place - picks 2 items from ANY other entrants ranked below you (max
1 per entrant)
There's a maximum of 2 items taken from each entrant per category.

Make sure you realize the mod status of any items you take and act accordingly.

jjscud's "good sportsmanship" suggestions. I won't enforce these but any reasonable person shouldn't have any problem following these.

1. Don't claim items for their trade value, claim items you want to use or as a trophy
2. If you want a trophy, please be considerate (i.e. no grailers)
3. if you claim an item and the player really wants it, give them a chance to trade back their self found item for a similar or better one or other item as you see fit.
4. If someone is claiming one of your items, you may personalize it before giving it to them.

And lastly, thanks again to the supervisors for doing the dirty work. Also a big congrats to the entire baal category and sequana, I had the results for baal in my mailbox just a couple hours after the MFO ended.

Re: MFO Results

Wow, I really got my butt kicked! I ended up with ~300 runs, and was deeply disappointed with the drops. When the gold Sacred Armor dropped, my heart rate went racing, and even when I looked at it in ATMA, I somehow convinced myself it was Tyreal's. I wasn't until about 5 minutes later I realized it was indeed Templar's. Oh well, congrats to the winners above me!

Heheh... Even a blue Sacred Armor dropping is enough to get my heart pumping! I always think "If I had just a LITTLE more MF on...."

Grats to all involved! There are some splendid items listed up there!!!

Re: MFO Results

Wow, some amazing results this year. I had a feeling this one would be a hard one, twas unfortunate I did not get more time to run but I doubt I would've been able to beat what sequana found.

Grats to Sequana for winning the ActVSU Category and grats to two of my team mates for winning their categories, they certainly deserve it!

Well time for me to go back into hiding and come out next MFO! 😁

Still looking forward to seeing the results for A85, I suspect that those 5.9k runs from bassano alone will have some amazing finds.

Many thanks also to jjscud and his crew for organising and maintaining the MFO, there is certainly a lot of effort involved!

Joosh 👍

Re: MFO Results

Wow, nice drops all around! Congratulations to everyone for some dedicated efforts!

Not many Stormlashes this time around- just the one from Sequana. I remember some MFOs where it seemed to be raining them...

Poor San- getting two Steel Pillars, one of the least useful TC87 uniques. Finding one is OK, if it's a grailer, but the second is not so exciting! Probably the most useless TC87 unique is Stormspire, I would think.

Holy cow! I came in second? I must reiterate the observation that Stormlashes were scarce, I was assuming one needed to find one to be in the running. Grats to Darko for winning the Mephisto category, as well as congrats to the other category winners. :flowers:

Finally tallied my runs and I ended up doing 4534 of them overall. Far more than I thought, but I counted it twice to make sure I didn't fat-finger the numbers in my calculator. I'd be curious to hear how many the rest of the Mephisto category did for comparison purposes. I plan on posting a more detailed "what fell" post later when my notes are all in order.

Re: MFO Results

Congrats to all the big winners! I'm not quite sure when the A85 results will be posted, but at least I've sent mine so the burden of holding up isn't mine (anymore). :p

I'm quite disappointed with my drops, I must have invested a good 40+ hours of running, but meh. A total of *11* blue Sacred Armors dropped for me during this MFO. Frustrating, frustrating.

Re: MFO Results

I can only say, that i really regret the fact, that both Golden Scourges turned into Horizons and Golden Legendary mallet into Stone crusher, i had chance to win, at least...And yeah, my third place is as bad as i feared...

Anyway, most importantly for me, i've proved, that HC melee runner (Barbarian) can compete against all these sorcs around 👍

As for finds, i found both items, which i was really looking for, ie Griffons AND Windforce, unfortunately, there is very high probability of loosing Griffons...But hey, rules are set this way and i agreed with them, so everything is allright...And at least, this rule helped me to do much more runs then i originally thought....

As for other finds, i had already Mangs, so no need to to find another one, still, very fare find...

Congrats to all winners (especially sequana in my category) and thanks jjscud for hosting this tourney 👍

My haul:

Uniques

Sets

Edit:Wow, just realized, that Alchemyst claimed two victories, one second place and one third, hmmm big congrats, folks :)

Re: MFO Results

Congratz to all winners and losers, espescially to Zaliqai and Bassano, who, imo, were the stars of this MFO with their unbelieavable amount of runs.

Heres the obligatory haul pic. Not too bad for 1k pits and 1k AT imo. I also got the small goal i set myself this MFO:Get a Griswold Cadaceus. Now unless some newb, namely bassano, jjscud or Corr decides to steal it, im at -1 grail.
And the little drop which always makes people heart miss a beat. I was no exception.
BTW about the lack of Stormlashes. My barb managed to collect em all from pits just before MFO.;)

@LD50 I have found a few,it's just i've traded them away:)

Re: MFO Results

Grats to all winners! Awesome scores there...

I managed only ~700 runs, and the score didn't change after 500. Considering that, I think the finds are more than adequate. My top 3 items are all grailers for me :smug:

Here's the loot, and here's the crown jewel, which really made my jaw drop.

Other goodies include an eth Reapers and some nice charms.

@Naab: How have you managed to avoid the Gris Caddy, while collecting all the other (more rare) stuff? :ponder: I'm still somewhere around grail -20, and I have 4 Green Caddies...

Re: MFO Results

Yay, I come in last 😁

Now some useless info cause I picked up everything ( I should have concentrate on more runs )
I did 1000 Pindle runs and I found 16 qualifiers, managed to cube up 23Pgems, highest rune found was Amn, found 50 non qualifier sets & 53 non qualifier unique (most interesting ones are 2 Highlord`s wrath & Wisp projector).
Had one breathtaking moment, but of course, it wasn`t The One. But hell, it`s a first golden scourge I found.. second will be better *knocks on wood*.
Here are my most interesting qualifiers in one place.

Grats to everyone on finds, tough I`m last, I`m very happy with mine :cloud9:.
Thanx to jjscud for organising this, and all area supevisors :flowers:.

err? Pindleton is next MF tourney or what? :scratchchin:

edit: Special grats to Darkoooo for winnig & spreading the word of Croatia through the world 😁
You`re like Janica Kostelic now

The Alchemists rule!

Congratulations everyone on your awesome finds! And Bassano, I was telling you you are gonna win! Also, great job Sequana and Kecin! We are gonna have some more beers tomorrow, aren't we?

I am pleasantly surprised that I finished second. When I was looking at my TOP5, I was thinking that there is a slim chance to be first(now I have a higher score than before two years - when I won). But then I read Zaliquai's and Callador's posts about their numbers and was quite certain they both will be ahead of me.

This is my haul, unfortunately there is no grailer for me. But, as I said before, the main reason I was running Baal was the experience(and, well, unwillingness of my teammates to run this cathegory:p).

Here are the screenshots of my top 5 finds: Griswold's Honor, Templar's Might, Griffon's Eye, Steel Pillar and M'avina's True Sight. It's no surprise they've come mostly from the waves.

At first, the golden sacred armor drop caused me a heart-attack, because I was thinking it is item level **. Later I realized it is ilvl 85 - it came from the normal skeleton, so no chance of it being a Tyrael's. Nonetheless, when I saw it's a Templar's and was killing Baal later that run, I was doing it on /p7, letting the merc deliver the killing blow and crossing fingers to see another gold sacred armor drop:)

The Griswold's shield is also ilvl 85, so my top 2 items came from the normal skeletons of the 2nd wave. IIRC sequana found a Death's Web not so long ago from these very same skeletons. Damn, it looks that killing normal monsters on /p8 can be very fruitful, too!

As for prize picking, I'll be a nice person this time and won't take anything.

I owe big thanks to my teammates for their support and motivation, my thanks also goes to all participants for making this MFO so intense(*stares at alvl85*) and of course to jjscud for hosting!👋
