Merc with Fade

If my merc has level 15 Fade from armor, is there any point in using a helmet with damage reduction?

Yes. DR is capped at 50%, so the 15% the merc gets from fade can be added upon. And, you can overstack DR to protect against Amplify Damage and decrepify.

Thx for that, I read the description wrong and thought it gave 60% dam reduction, but that was resistance.
