Rawr, pits never dropped me anything, i've done like 100+ runs.
 
hmmm... I know hell Meph is the most famous mf spot in the game, and probably all the people saying he hasn t been changed and those who have been lucky in their runs will still consider him the best. To me he s the worst :)
I did many many runs on both nm and hell Meph this season, hell Meph didnt drop me absolutely anything worth keeping, I did get some uniques from the surrounding council members and lords but nothing from Meph himself.
On the other side it did cought my attention while doing runs I was alternating aprox. 10 hell runs then 10 nm runs to relax, both with the same char and same equip. In nm I saw more set pieces and uniques dropping from random monsters and Meph himself than in hell. Oh yes, its my luck... :) Luck or not if I have to do 10000 runs to actually get results from Meph I d much rather do 10000 Pit runs, I will probably have the same odds to finally find something in so many runs (luck speaking that is).

While clearing out act 5 on my way to Hell I've picked up two shakos in the last two days, just playing, not looking for anything in particular other than EXP.

A two socketed one would be nice *sigh*. Then I would switch. I need the +skills that I currently have for headgear. This time I found a Beryl Shako. Oh well.
 
MF definitely works

I had been working for several years without MF (I was playing Paladins exclusively, and I had not researched MF enough to understand how it worked and how I could utilize it best), and I can't say that I ever had a unique drop. Having been working on a MF character since the start of the ladder season, I can see a clear and distinct difference. Right now I'm averaging maybe 1-2 uniques a day with just over 100% MF for a lvl 62 Amazon, and I'm sure that with a little bit of patience I can improve on that number. I have to say that MF makes life much better in Sanctuary.

about Meph:

first two weeks i started back i didn't find ****(ca. 2000+ runs), the next 1.5 weeks: 6 shakos, 2 arachs, 2 HoZ (one crappy eth though), Skully, 2 ocus, etc. all about luck my friend.
 
yea also i get a lot of failed to join games. does anyone know the reason for that? am i making games too fast? whenever i copy and paste stuff diablo closes and says there was an error. i dont kno. also i will get temp banns if i do 30 meph runs in a row. i dont kno maybe i do them too fast. beuacse i can do a meph run in about 1 min. o well hopefully they will let up a bit
