Oh damn... you are right, I guess. It is not considered base defense of the armor (like 50% from etherealness is), right? Otherwise, it would get to wooping 1008 defense!
How bad is the cost for repairing such item without the cube, by the way?

Well.. This one sort of suprised me. I had just killed Norm Baal and saw a gold lettered amulet and though, " Great.. I'm gonna get the lowest level unique amulet you can get.. " And I pick it up and ID it, and I kinda look at it and think, "Not too shabby.." :lol:
