Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

Vote: Soylentrend

I'm not "un-suspecting" SiTro, but I believe day is close to over, and I don't think Bob should be lynched yet. Thus my vote goes to the closest one who isn't bob.

Serdash: 4 (Orphan, Noammr, Friedbananazzzz, Nolecub)

spigot: You have not unvoted for Soylent from your first vote. Do that, and I'll edit this post to show whats accurate.

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

Remember, Jaago and ogogo on ice still haven't cast thier votes.

I'm tempted to move my vote to Zhao, after re-reading the beggining of the day his case against Soy looks more and more like a set-up to me...however, Serdash's game is irritating me even more (too many lulz masking a lack of content, casting a joke vote and then bandwagoning on the leading one looks bad) so my vote stays where it is.

Still reading, I'll come back with more thoughts later on.

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

Bob I am a man of my word
Hey -- Bandwagon.
SiTro -- High on suspect list, he even quotes himself See very last line. His table I commented on, he using this long post to get people to vote on his short response. It’s an eye tendency for those that want to skim. In addition this player wants people to evaluate other mafia games to get a feel for their style. Not a bad suggestion but does completely bias someone to think their is a pattern when the role may not be the same. IMO Sitro is applying option 5 in my earlier post. Sitro's reasoning is strong in some areas but inconstantly strong in comparison to other games played. (Yes I did read)
Zhao_Yue -- I think he's put his foot in his mouth. He is pushing his view which is fine but has next to nothing to stand on it. I think he's trying to be a blender. In both sense of the word, blend into the crowd and stir it up.
BobTheWarrior -- Informative. Nothing suspicious ATM.
Serdash -- Randomizer.
ogogo on ice -- Randomizer.
Ankeli -- Informative and need to reread post.
friedbananazzzz -- Randomizer & Bandwagon.
spigot -- Need more analysis
Erwwwd -- Sparks debate
Nolecub -- Non contributor towards debate
aman -- Non Contributor.
MassiveSin -- Defensive
Soylentred -- Noting going to make it past round 1 even if not lynched since admitting to have a role of some nature. I would conclude Mafia will NK her and we will not know her role and Mafia will be able to claim it as their own until the coroner comes forward. If she is the coroner then mafia gain major advantage. So I can't help but conclude she does not make it past this round.
Noammr -- Debate starter / cattle prodder
Orphan -- Non Contributor toward debate with weak arguments for why Thyiad was targeted. Thyiad’s rep in this forum is across more than the SP forum. Any regular to this site would know that. As such the mafia note taker or one or more of the mafia team are regulars.
Jaago -- Randomizer.

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

I also don't want to see Soy go yet. I feel like she can contribute a lot more to us than ZY or Serdash, and as I'm willing to change my vote in aid to spare her.

Unvote
Vote: Serdash

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

Nice post MS, I tend to agree with most of your views on players. However, I doubt that Soy would've claimed a role if she was a high-end one...most likely she holds a minor role that won't make much of a difference or one that will trigger upon a nk (i.e. bomb) and make them bleed .

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

Of the people being talked about, I think that Serdash would be the most beneficial to be let go. Zhao's and Soy's debate is over, and there wasn't anything too out of line to arouse my suspicioun's, one person constantly attacking another, with the other person defending themselves in a fairly logical manner, though the power claim role is something to be wondered about.
Zhao's play style seems the most suspicious to me, though I realize that that can mostly be attributed to his playstyle. Also, he helps gather new information for the rest of the town to read, which is always helpful.
Ankeli's voting makes sense and don't see too much odd, very intent on getting a lynch, while still using logic, a good thing.
Sitro, though many people seem to have issue with the point system, also uses fairly logical steps, and I think its a good thing that they don't use the point system to completely justify their voting, but more as a bookkeeping tool.
With his last post my suspicions of Bob have more or less gone away, and the rest of the crowd hasn't stood out to me too much.
Nolecub seems to have contributed the least, mostly performing drive-by votings without much other information. Therefore, I shall
Vote Nolecub

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

did that need to be
unvote Bob

vote Serdash

Spigot had his subsequent vote for Bob tallied so that may be why he has missed that he did not unvote his first vote for me.

Nolecub: 1 (ogogo on ice)

There is just over half an hour left in the day.

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

For those that want a lynch day one I'd do the math for you since its winding down.
Votes from half the remaining players (rounded up) + 1 is what is needed for a lynch. Half (rounded up) + 2 locks the lynch in.
Hey, SiTro, Zhao_Yue, BobTheWarrior, Serdash, ogogo on ice, Ankeli, friedbananazzzz, spigot, Erwwwd, Nolecub, aman, MassiveSin, Soylentred, Noammr, Orphan, Jaago
=17 round up =18
18/2 = 9 +1 = Lynch 10 votes Lock = 11
Aman can not vote so 16 people are avilable for votes of which by the above 15 have voted.
GL This is a public service annoncement...

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

The correct math is;
With 16 people voting, it takes 9 to lynch and 10 to lock the person for lynching.

Not moving my vote since the only other option is Soy and I don't believe she's mafia.

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

Jaago, I'm changing the day at 12:00pm my time. The hour difference is because the U.S. started daylight savings time Sunday morning, so we lost an hour there.

MS: The rounding up on the votes is only when we have an odd number of people, and half of the total gives us something like 4.5 votes (which would go up to 5).

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

After thinking it through, I've decided to continue this day for another hour. I should've given a better warning for the day being an hour shorter. The time change will go into effect after today.

If you read this post
I want to clarify the vote procedure. In the rules, it says:

This has been changed. Votes from half the remaining players (rounded up) + 1 is what is needed for a lynch. Half (rounded up) + 2 locks the lynch in.
Aman is still in the game as a player he's just in timeout...
I asked for clarification in a pm

Re: Mafia: The Gangland Massacre

From ray's first post I assume the count is of voting players, thus aman is not included.

One more vote needed for a lynch guys.
