Lvl9 duelling input needed

I decided to make a lvl9 druid dueller since I saw there were lots of games like that on b.net.But I need advice on how to build him. Here are my thoughts.Equipment:
Isenheart's set
Death's gloves+belt
Some rare res/life rings and ammy
Any good?

Skills:
OK lvl9 means 8points+3den of evil+3radament+6izzual=20 skill points total.
5 Raven
1 Poison Creeper
4 Oak sage
4 Spirit wolf
4 Werebear(4 werewolf?)
2 Lycantrophy

Maybe less into wolves and more into Lycantrophy?

Stat points:
Enough to max block-possible?
Or enough to wear equipment and rest into vita?

Each advice will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

As I've experienced, I've found out low level dueling for druids, doesnt work that well unless you have some good weapons, and a nice SS Skills to back it up, fire elemental lld's tend to fall short on the damage, and pure summoners cant make there creatures hit and get some damage dealt,
My advice, hop you guy up to a max or lvl 12-15 and drop some points into maul or Feral Rage, both excellent skills for dueling.
Hell, just have fun with it, push him past lvl 9 if he doesnt seem to work
lld's are for tweaking, because if you mess up you dont have tp clear 90 levels of mistakes just to make one change.

I'd do this:
Lvl 9 Werebear

Khalim's Will or something with big dmg like 5 socket eth flail with 9max jewels.
Bone shield of deflecting with 2 sockets from Larzuk with 2 9max jewels
Death's Gloves and Belt
Hsaru's boots
2xNagelrings
Magic or rare amulet of stat points or life
3 socket breastplate with 9max jewels
3 socket mask with 9max jewels

On switch - a 6 socket ethereal pike with 6x 17-20ed jewels.

Stats
enough str to wear gear, enough dex for max block with shield, vitality the rest.

Skills
4 Werebear
1 Oak
max lycanthropy for lvl
rest wherever you like

You should be unstoppable while using flail, and you have the massive pacifier on switch.

That is a great build lol, I never think of the equipment stuff, because I'm a low budget duelsit, I let me skills do the talking and my equipment backs it up. I find that to work better because skills dont break but weapons do. Have you ever tried repairing one of those things? Jeez! Even finding 6 17%ed jewels is a pain..I wouldnt know where to start looking for one, maybe thats why all my chars keep dieing :D, sorry went on a rant there

Anyways if you've got the money follow his build, but if you're low on money, push him up to lvl 12 or 15 and get some SS Skills to back up the Summons, if you're broke relying on old equipment might not work for you. Just my 2 cents

jesus me this, jesus me that, but max dam jewels are a must for both SC and HC LLD. Take that from a mass murderer like me who has wasted over 1500 people in the HC LLD range.

Khalims flail, yes, and then max block with a bsod, and a crapload (and when I say crapload I mean crapload) of +15 life large charms.

Act 2, the entire act, drops nice LLD charms and jools, as well as normal andariel.

Well, first thing, you are probably going to get slaughtered by any decent vllder. Just thought you would like to know that.

Another thing, to make a decent llder, it is very very exepensive. With that said, lets move on.

Weapon: Kahlim's Will (the one with no requirements)

Shield: There are many choices here.
Bone Shield of deflection, Pelta Lunata (because the health bonus becoms pretty large after switching to werebear), a very nice rare shield with fhr/deflecting/2 sockets

Helm: Try for a 3 socket +3 werebear/+3 lycan [my best find to date is a +3 lycan/+2 werewolf] socket it with damae jewels

Armor: Now the tricky part. Since you are a werebear and get a defense bonus, about the only thing you have other llders is defense. Try to get a 4 socket ancient armor and socket it with +max/-req jewels. Or, you could go with the cheaper breastplate.

Rings: Nagels will do, or you could find some nice rares with str/dex/ar

Amulet: Try to get a +5str/+5dex/+20 ar amule (no easy task)

Gloves: Bloodfist. The reason for this is: +40 life, 30% fhr, +5 minimum damage. Also, there aren't too many level 9 casters and outside ias doesn't affect attacks while shapeshifted.

Belt: Not alot of vllders use cold damage, so you could find a nice rare to use here. But keep a Death's Sash in your stash just in case.

Boots: Try to find some nice rare ones

For your skills I would go:
Max werebear for your level [4]
Max oak for your level [4]
Level 11 Lycan (1 pre-req)

Charms are a different story. The best charms for level 9 are 15 life large charms usually with ar tacked on there.

As I mentioned before, jewels can be very very expensive for a llder especially if you want to use Ancient Armor because then your jewels have to spawn with the "of freedom" suffix. [A friend bought the one I found for a Perfect Nightwings socketed with a 5/5 die facet]

Good Luck with your vllder!!

Well, you could always get yourself glitch rushed by just being in act 5 when someone kills baal for quest in norm and nm. Have a good friend clean up the skill quests for you. That gives you more stat points and skill points to play with also an additional 40 life.

Armor that everyone seems to be neglecting would be 4 os Gothic Plate, lowest strength req of any of them with 4 possible sockets.

I didn't mention gothic because if you have damage jewels with -req, it would probably be better to stick them in an ancient armor. Gothic is a viable choice, just if he is making a werebear he is going to need that extra defense from ancient to compete

The reason I said breastplate was because it requires only 30 str and +9max/-15req jewels are very rare!
Gothics need 70, ethereal 60.
Ancient armor needs 100, eth 90.
That's too many skill points wasted at lvl 9! Better to put them in dex for max block or life.
The other thing - you don't have to be rich to obtain this gear! Just takes a while to find the jewels. Go to cow runs and normal sewers to get them.
Bone shield of Deflecting - buy off Drognan in normal then goto Larzuk and beg for 2 sockets.
If you get rushed thru hell, you would end up being one mean lvl 9 druid!

well druids only get 2 life per point of vit so 15 life larges would be better with a full invetory then puting points in vit.

also just a thought. since druids dont get very good life with vit it would most likely for a vlld bear to get the best armor he can with high defense to put maxers in after max block of course.

i mean you'll get 300 life normal from the charms alone, and at lvl 9 hell rushed no gear on your life should run around 400+. that's alot for a lvl 9 char with base vit.

right now i'm working on a lvl 9 wolf but i wish his wolf head had 3 sockets then i would be in heaven.. +3 werewolf/lycan  2 sockets

I think druids will suck vs any good VLLD'er. Most certainly against lvl 9 Pala's.

I assume assa and barb will kick your but too, but since it's all about having fun, go for it :)

Why +15 large charms not +10 life small charms that you can pick up in the bloody moor? The +10 life small charm rlvl is 14 with prefixes you can get some nice small charms in blood moor at the start of the game.

I would stay clear of summons and elemental skills for a low lvl dueler, shapeshifting and oak sage may be the best way to go. lucky for you pelts can give you the staffmods at that low of a level.

Might I suggest a 4 hel'd supierior maul it will have crap for requirements but will be quite strong using jewels of freedom with other affixes could make a really nice maul.

You could level 1 craft some nice items with ctc but the rlvl would be in the 15-20 range.
