Locked out of my Accounts!

I have five USWest accounts. A few days ago, I got hit by a "switcheroo" scam (annihilus out, mephisto soulstone in). Once you're done laughing, listen to this:

I was able to, an hour ago, log onto one of my accounts. After searching for some keys, I logged out and tried to log into another account. No go. I tried another one, and it didn't work. Two of my accounts do work, but three now just display endless "Please Wait" messages, even when I try to go and change the password. Additionally, Diablo II has been futzing and freezing, despite my recent reinstallation of Windows and this game. No viruses or spyware can be found.

What on Earth is going on here?

Could be USWest, it has been bad lately but not this bad as far as I've seen. Check other realms to be sure.

the bnet ani vs soulstone scam is a classic, always doublecheck the trade before hitting ok

if you were muling and switching chars too quickly it could be a temp ban
normally they dont last longer than 1hr tho and itll log in and say youve been temp restricted or your char selection screen will be blank

try deleting the bncache and bnetlog files from your d2 folder

You used to have to drop it. Now, all the unique charms are tradeable via the trade window.

Oh, is that new in 1.11? I guess that's why I never heard of this scam before now.

It was introduced after 1.11 came out IIRC.

i think it was around june this year that you could trade uniq charms in the trade window

still cant trade charm/charm tho

if you want to trade to a better torch, ani or gheed you need to drop

i only trade for those on the forums tho :wink3:
