An interesting development, Sur's have been found from Meph's chest at p3. See the other LK thread. It seems sensible that the LK chests would be the same and also drop Sur, but it'll be tough to prove until at least some drops are matched.

@Niyougegema - I get about 60K LK runs to get Zod. Every 11K runs should get you a Ber and a Sur. Ber + Sur = 3/16ths of a Zod. So its a bit over 5 x 11K or about 60K.

My first real rune from p3 LK. Lum with a new pattern. I picked up the rune before I took a snap (because it's just a Lum) but took a snapshot without the rune anyway. I have a pic of a blue ceremonial javelin if anyone's interested :smiley:

I also found a drop with vambraces + gothic shield which got my hopes up. Picked up some of the gold but the only other thing there was a blue Glaive :(

Those can all drop on P8 Bassen

Yeah, I know that but by lowering the players wont it sort out certain runes and make other drops easier? if not why do some run at p3-p8? whts the difference?


Edit:

According to NM LK there can drop up to Lem so if I wanan find Hel-Lem wouldnt NM-LK be better for those runes?

I got Sur rune about 10months ago when I saw one forum topic like this one. I did about 500ish runs in /8players and got lucky. No sshot unfortunately, I had it but its deleted long time ago. Anyway its posibble to get Sur @ /8players game.

These runs are not planned, but I happened to get a map with two campfires with the waypoint right above one, and the second just about 10 seconds away with Vigor activated. And then I head for the The Pits.

thx for remembering this and "thx" to people who made him leave this forum. they obviously can't see beyond their noses and can't imagine how many players are lurking here, with "wealth" they can only dream of. how sad.

No way. Obviously he went through all 65,000 possibilities and duplicated the drop :unimpressed: . It is funny that after three to four years, the witch-hunts continue. It would seem people would have learned.

And a huge thanks to you for getting this into OT.

We didn't make him leave this forum, if he just introduced himself, showed us a couple of his Pats/Mats, what his items are like we would've accepted him (I know I would), but anyone can come here and claim he has Bers floating around and we should just give him our trust? It doesn't work that way.

I do not understand why p3 beats p8 here. Both have the same 1/65K chance of Ber, right? The monsters are of course less of a hassle, but still it does not seem like a huge improvement.

For the past 3 days I've done nothing but run the LK superchests at /p4 for a Lo because I just have to have a Fort suit to wear, but nothing so far (well, I did get a Lum last week from there but that was questing and not dedicated running). I've been thinking about all the higher runes I might be missing out on not running at /p8, but it looks like /p3-4 gives better odds for lots of things, hmm... :thumbup: Hope to have something to add here soon!
