Barb builds
Zerker barb (uses beserk as their main skill)
Warcry barb (uses offensive warcries)
Concentration barb (uses concentration)
WW barb (uses wirlwind as main skill)
Frenzy barb (uses frenzy)
Hybrid barb (uses double throw/frenzy or double swing)
MF barbs (uses things like find item etc.)
Basharians (uses bash as main skill)
1) Beserkers do HUGE amounts of irresistible magic damage. Huge AR and damage out put. The only downside is your total lack of defense.
2) War cry barbarians are usually played for fun. However, if you've got the right knowledge and skills you could have a very potent PVP character.
3) Concentration barbs have huge defense. Thats their main advantage.
4) WW barbs are what most people make. Great speed, versatility and many other things about WW make this IMO the ideal skill. This skill is also one of the fastest attacks out there.
5) Frenzy barbs are sick when they get going. Insane r/w speed, attack speed etc. Really fun build for MVP. Don't know if it's viable in PVP though.
6) Hybrid barbs. Well their aren't many of those builds around. But from what I'm told (like the warcry barb) they can be good in the right hands.
7) MF barbs usually use another attack but have an emphasis in find item etc.They are exclusivly used for farming.
8) Basharians are a very OLD build. But they are great. Again, not many of these around but if you love bashing people into oblivion this is the character for you.
For PVP you can have the following..
BVB= Specializing in close combat duels they focus more on damage/leech then anything else. You'll have HUGE amounts of block, defense and damage. The downside is that you'll get owned against casters and BVB matches are usually just about equipment rather then skill.
BVA= This barb is a good all around barbarian for casters and melee.
BVC= These guys focus on life, resistances and damage in that order. They usually have life in the thousands and can tank very well while having a high damage output. Nothings better then owning sorcs/necro's
There ya go. I've been playing for four years and I LOVE the barbarian. I've made 6 or 7 in that time before settling on my PVP wirler. All the builds are fun though and I might make a frenzy or zerker barb soon. Good luck!!

I've tried frenzy barbs, concentrate barbs and wirling barbs. My frenzy barb was the funnest out of the three. Concentration barbs are very boring, atleast I think so. Most of the barbs I've made have been wirling ones. They are great for fun and in MVP/PVP.
I think the next build I'm gonna try is either a zerker or a basharian.

I'm lvl 31 now (not very high yet :wink3: ) and i like sword + shield the best, is a WW build still good with that? I like skills like conc and bash too, maybe more than WW but the downside is that they only attack one target, and WW does nice dmg vs much targets. And the mana cost of WW is pretty much, 2 or 3 WW's and my mana is down. (Ok, leeching does take it away, but not all) Anyone tried a Warcry barb? Is it good with 1h and shield?

Well, going to be a WW barb with a bit in Conc,
btw, is the Conc skill nerfed in the 1.11 patch? i only play single player atm, and i have patch 1.09, i downloaded patch 1.11 and my conc does way less dmg then in 1.09. Atleast, ive got that feeling.. Is that right?
