Well, if you truly, truly wish to digress and brag childishly, saying you make a lot of money off "my kind", go ahead. Not sure who you wish to influence or impress, though. It's easy to stereotype; everyone can do it. Watch!

"Your kind" is the type that gets so angry when they get cut off, that they get pissed off for the rest of the day.
"Your kind" is the type of intense control freak that if your kid doesn't do everything like you, you banter and demean them.
"Your kind" is the type that drives away all your friends because you'd rather win an insignificant argument than have a little fun.
"Your kind" is the type that would get so pissed about the politics and workings of a videogame that you wouldn't play it.

Relating to the topic...blizz likely doesn't wish to spend actual time working on this, so they will run their "ladder reset" program at nightime, when they don't need their hardware for other purposes.


 
well,its Monday afternoon,1:55 pm(Central Standard Time) and they STILL haven`t reset the ladder yet.supposedly,from what I`ve been hearing,theyre supposed to be resettting at 8:00 pm this Evening (Toronto time) we`ll see.lol
 
Battle net just said that US East Ladder will reset in one hour. It was in blizzard chat channel. I hope that is correct.
Or maybe it was just some kid >.> so bored!
 
It's a hoax. Wouldn't that be funny?

edit: There is a guy who just registered his username as Battle.net and has been doing that all morning (with many LULZ resulting). Unless that announcement appeared in Blue and across the server - not just in chat - it's BS.
 
Well I'm pretty sure that the 'broken red button ladder reset thingamajij' was a big joke...4 hours to push down a button? they must be really weak...

Heres what it says:
We ran into a slight setback this morning when beginning the reset. The large red button that begins the reset was found to be slightly scratched near the upper-left quadrant, and because of this we are now in the process of replacing the reset button. The new button is promised to be free of blemishes, and to hold a red candy-like glow.

We're anticipating that the installation should be completed this afternoon, at which time all Diablo II realms will be brought down before the button is pushed. Due to the complexity of the inner-workings and procedure in depressing the button, we anticipate it will require approximately four hours to push all the way down.

If you're unable to log in to the realms, or get disconnected, please check the Battle.net Status forum as the reset has likely begun, and more information will be available in that forum.

I just love how people make a reset sound this simple. Even if it is a push of a large red button, the changing of all character data in the servers takes a while. I am wondering, approximately how many characters are in the ladder this season?

Seriously...... What did they do? They lost the program to change characters to NL and someone is furiously coding it at this moment?
