KTAeast: Survives Turkeys, Moves through Nm Durry and Meph
Well, after everyone managed to survive their Glutinous urgues last week on thanksgiving and something for almost everone on monday causing us to miss that day too, but KTAeast got back into the full swing of things last night. Our wayward hammerdan also came back to us to give us our full 7 while tooie is out of town on business....
Just a side note before we start in on how we did....I think oxy and I have come to an agreement on who's hotter...She has just been turned down too many times that I think she realizes I am most definately the better looking one, although she's not bad, I find myself looking at her from time to time....Unfortunately my looking had to be curtailed last night as halfway through as the sorc had to stay in time toget quests as she was doing a reading project for school....
Anyhoo, when we left everyone last week, we had just moves into act 2 in nm and however far we went last night would be a new record for untwinked groups on east as far as I groups I have been in......We started offwith our group of waylaid champions and swept through teh desert with a few straying every now and again, but after a couple closs calls in the viper temple with the strayers, the bulk of the group managed to sweep through the maggot layer and came back to finish off the temple and put the staff together...then we split up again to pick the way in the arcane and sent the SUmmoner back to where he came from (they didnt need to nerf him this much in the patch)
We moved through tal rashas chamber wanting to look in aw of the place, but continuing battles with those damn lightning beetles and other nasty creatures kept us on our toes and we had no close calls and managed to find the secret entrance to duriels chamber...we all took a deep breath and went in and absolutely tore him to pieces....he went down in 10 secs or so....All of act 2 took aroudn 30 min, so we were optimistic we could get through act 3 as well
Then we moved on to the dreaded act 3.....at this point oxy ahd to stay in town and do the book report (although I do admit I had went there a few times to take a peak, she has a nice butt, man I am an assassin, I need to keep my focus to keep my edge...she will go behind my back to get rid of me, but those legs....focus focus) ahhh, umm, lets get back to the story.....
We managed to get through act 3 much better this time than in norm....we only found a couple dead ends and we were able to collect the various disgusting body parts (where was that sorc when I needed someone to comfort me?
We got the first 2 pieces and then split up with half going to the nasty sewers (no place for a girl to be) and the other group went to the temple to get our ubar 5 stat points....that stat points were a major success, we managed to find the entire floor of the sewer before we found lvl 2 :lol: We got our 2nd to last piece and moved on to the travincal to face off with the dreaded demons.....However, the demons were there, but I guess they were a little bloated from eating too many humans on Thanksgiving because they just kinda stood there and we destroyed them.....We then made our fancy will and smashed the pretty orb to get into Mephisto's lair.....
We maneged to find lvl 2 and the wp without much problem and we had tp split up to find lvl 3... man this place is big..... the other group found it so they sent us portals to them and we went through.....We had a large scale fight with the guys by the moat and at least 2 other lightning enchanted baddies to both sides as the converged on us from 3 sides hoping to trape us....our shear power and great resists (umm, ya) were able to overcome the surprise and we moved to the bad person over to the right and sent him home to his brothers and continued on to mephisto... this took a bit l onger than Durry, I think meph took at least 12 secs to go down which sent us to act 4 nm where we will be monday :thumbsup:
SO on monday we all get our super ubar nm hellforges :thumbsup: Hopefully we can find matt his io for a new wpn and everyone else can get some um's to help with those resists......We also get tooie our big fluffy bear back monday so our life will be thankfull....anyways, hope everyone enjoys, writing is not my thing, but I thoguht I would give oxy a break from it for once
