KTA - Team SPEED - starting now!

i will be on a lot tonight... from quite early till a bit later as well.

i would like to finish hell with my sorc and do some baals to reach at least lvl 80... a bit higher would be even better. (i still need some skillpoints to finish my build).

when noone is on.... i will be doing NM mephs/andy's to get me some more stuffies... or i might wanna go for charms hunting.

is there any place in NM where there are no cold immumes at all? preferably something with a bunch of monsters? (river of flame?)

been doing some Baal runs with Ivan yesterday on my Javazon and that worked pretty well. The killing that is, the drops were abysmal...

On a side note: We've been providing eachother with quite some starter and midgame or even endgame gear and I was wondering (after reading the "New to HC handout"-thread) if it would be a good idea to set up some general storage accounts?

You know, just accounts full of mules where we can throw together low level sets or whatever gear can be useful to your buds but is just gathering dust on your mules at the moment because you can't be arsed to go through the pain of trading it for a meager amount of pgems and can't force yourself to toss it since it MIGHT be useful sometime :)

E.g. those two relatively useful but unused Hsarus' pieces on one of my set item mules might become a superdeluxe full Hasarus' starter set for someone's next char if one of you dudes has a belt. Stuff like that...

sounds like a plan to me... but 1 thing... who would we grand acces... and who not?

and how would we get all those mules permd?

We could pool the items that r good but we no longer require - I suspect access will be (to start with) the KTA gang and then maybe start a threat to see who would want access to useful low level/starter gear.
 
I'll second McCain's statement...lots of fluff that can be useful to someone that I don't want to toss...let me know when and where I can stick it!

We can MF Meph Hell for the sundry IK bits then run the Pits to see if we get lucky on the armour...I have had some white and blue Sacred Armours drop lately so i'm feeling lucky!
Also, I got a nice Rockstopper today from Hell Meph; only the light res is a bit poor (24%) but the other 2 resis' are late 30's and early 40's so if that will help your resistances with the GA you got from Tom then wear that and gimme the Darksight back!! :wink3: :tongue:

I have been donating my unused/unneeded low/mid level stuff to the "New to Hardcore" thread.

But I'm doing mostly Hell Pit runs now and most of the useful stuff I find is pretty high level.

So I was thinking that there could be a similar thing for the higher levels. I have a few things that I know I will never use (e.g. Griz Cadduceus, second Lightsabre, third Wizzy), but don't want to bother trying to trade, and hate to just sell because under the right circumstances, I know they could be a huge benefit to someone else.

So if you want a few donations for higher levels, lemme know.


 
Shame your not on EuHC or I would rob that Gris Caddy from you in a second!

Unless you mean you do have an active Europe account you want to donate to...in that case...whaddya want for it?! :grin:
 
First mule is perming at the moment.

My guess is we should just keep access to the account to the people already passing around items. Then if we do end up with people outside this group asking for certain items those people can just take them from the accounts and hand them over to the requesters.

By the way: I created account KTA_Storage1.

We have some time on our hands to discuss sorting, etc.

I like the idea being used on USEast at the moment sorting stuff by class and throwing general purpose stuff on diff mules. Perhaps we can do something along those directions as well.
 
Just a quick word of advice. You'll have mutliple users and you'll have dozens of items. It's a pain to have to look through lots of mules to find that one thing you're looking for. This is especially the case when you have many people donating.

I've found the best thing is to arrange the items by character type with a few generic mules for sockets, rings, ammys, etc (things that aren't character specific). Maybe use a Zon for Zon stuff, a Barb for Barb stuff, that kind of thing. Plus keep a few extra mules for angelic's, skins, and other things that can work for many classes.

I was on last night but it seemed no one else was...well...Tika was on but I had to eat my curry, take a bath then no time to play; straight to Band Practice!
Will be on tonight but not sure when, prolly 10ish as I only have to deck zee hallz (and a shrubbery) with gaudy baubles...after that i'm free to game! Let me know if you want anything done (IK Barb?) Ivan...if not, I wanna get my Smiter up to scratch...level 15 atm with staff in Act 2...if anyone has a char they want to do...?
 
Sure we can get your smiter up and at em - my Sorc is about that level - I actually have 2 - one is pure cold the other is Meteor and Frozen Orb - or she will be.

We can break it up with helping my IK Barb level some more - I think he can use bloodtree now.... ;D
 
wondered where you went! - I think we got everything stored with kaxe. nothing left of value when we created a new game.
 
Not quite everything...there was a +3 Druid Summoning + 10% FCR amulet left that I nabbed and hope I can keep as I really want to make a full Aldur's set summoner...plz gi3b?!
