KTA - Team SPEED - starting now!

You still have some time to build a new toon. I´m lacking the Hate and Dest keys and my Smiter and Summoner need to be geared some more. Would be fun to have a few KTAs with me. During the weekend I should be able to complete my Smiter and get the Hate keys. Necro and Dest keys need some more time though.

(OUTSIDE of KTA!!)
Came back to my comp last night (dropped from trade game, won't know what offers I had for my LLD charm :unimpressed: ) after band practice and found Ivan 'All on his Todd' :tongue:
He was doing some odd quests to which I helped him finish then we decided on some NM Baalruns...Baal was most unkind and gave us absolutely nowt so I twinked Ivan's gear a little out of my own personal stash seeing as Baal was reluctant to give up the HoZ's! :grin:
Oh well, Ivan is near 70 now and in the coming weeks we will do Hell so that we get up to 80 or so as his Conviction aura will benefit us all greatly if/when we tackle Uber Trist...

thanks for the invitation... i would realy like to see that stuff.
my sorc will need to be higher in both lvl and gear first dough... and time is not my strongest point in this atm. i will try to lvl her asap and get MFing for good gear. i will need help with lvling still dough... as immunitys are a major pain.

Yeah was a good day yesterday - the odd quests were Den of Evil, Rada and a few of Act 3! So got a few more skills. I finally socketed my Duriel's Shell with an Ort, for lightning Resistance.
Items from Kaxe really helped - and hopefully I can get him up some more to make him a decent fist in a fight! Thanks for the help peeps
Anyone on tonight? I will be hoping to get him up some more with a few Baals but dolls give me a headache! Also will be keeping my fairly new IK Barb ticking over!
PS - My xmas shopping will be done next weekend! LOL

I could prolly put my javazon to use around your conviction pally. She has not seen much action recently, but her gear is coming together ok-ish, courtesy of McCain (Titan's) and Hell Tristruns (Stormshield

Good luck with that one dude, dunno what Newcastle shopping centres are like this time of year but it must be hellish!

Newcastle Resembles the River of Flame with the screen full at xmas! Chaos in other words - also do a google search for the Metrocentre - that place is mayhem also - road are a hellish.......... do u think a card will do?

I'm up for anything! But I don't think its suicide time yet with KTA team speed - cos hell difficulty with just 2 or 3......not far from! I'm still dolled up in Ptopaz for MF fun

I just wanted to give a short report of my weekend preparation for "KTA goes Uberland". I got the 3 Hate Keys from the Summoner and my Smiter took his first steps in hell and did the Den together with Tika´s Cold Sorcie. 3 Dest Keys to go, but that will need some more gear from Mephisto, since Nihlathak has this unpleasant habbit to CE you to hell, if the Vipers don´t get you first.
Mephi was not to generous and on visit number 356 my Sorc almost got deeds. I teled into a Mauler pack and within an instant life and mana dropped to arround 10%. I drank a big purple and luckily had enough FHR to jump out. I couldn´t see the mods of the boss and was to scared to go back and have a closer look, but the might aura was clearly visable. Since my eshield survived this, mana burn was not one of the mods and would for sure have sent my sorc to the RIP-thread.

yesterday 4 people were in channel around 8ish... so we had a chat and decided to do a baalrun.
during that baalrun Tom, a friend of some of us, also came in and we discussed what to do for the rest of the evening. we decided we should better do some out of KTA fun... and since all had characters ready for the beginning of hell we did just that.
i think it was me with the least quests done... only having done the Den. so we rescued Cain, killed andarial, did radament, had some fun in the maggot lair... etc..etc.. we finished act 2, then did all usefull quests in act 3 and finaly got to act 4 where we mangled izzual and did some HF runs. (wich nettet me a pul... wich i am happy with.)
we did another HF run, and after that i sadly had to leave...
i did have fun guys... and its amazing what killing power this team had. the combination of conviction, a fire sorc, a cold sorc, a LF/FA zon and a hammerdin was pretty amazing.
thanks for the progress on my new sorc guys... only diablo and act 5 left... and then preferably some baals to lvl a bit more... and she is set and ready.

p.s. thanks for letting me have that Occy, it is very effective on my switch for MF kills and for putting on Eshield and my cold armor. atm i teleport with wizzy and i kill with occy... that works wonders.

Tom is my mate that I introduced to Ivan who introduced him to you Tika :grin: HC friends are few and far between so lets build up a family yeah?!
I bet you were happy with the Pul as me n Ivan got chumped! (I got Fal after you left!)
I was very happy with the Homunculus (had to visit the AS for spelling on that one!) and started levelling my Boner (heh,heh) again late last night when everyone was gone to get him in training for possible PvP use...just need to find a candidate for a 'White' wand! Had lots of kickass Boneshade's last season but alas, none this...yet :thumbsup:
Me and Tom did mini-ubers and the big humpers McCain123 and jeeeeezUZ!! Lillith's annoying *****-witches were caning my 4k (just under!) life on my IK Barb with their damn PhyziBalls of Hurt! Being cursed ALL the time didn't help much but hey, it's all good!
Furnace was a pain as well due to IM...being cursed, decreped and mobbed at all times with no Def from 'zerk on hit my huge life pool for six!
Still, past all that, the big ubers turned out to be comparitively easy! Sure, I wasn't toe-to-toe with them as I was a support role (mostly Taunting enemies off of Tom and whacking them!) but by the time I got onto the screen (he jumped in without me!) Mephisto was already dead! I only got to whack Baal a little bit! The soso torch that dropped was nice but as they were Tom's keys I gave it back to him (I had to ID it!) but got a 20/17 'zon torch (on loan!) for helping out!
Up for more levelling tonight, will be on around 10:30-11 as I have a ton of painting to do! All the time on d2 latel and i'm behind schedule! Will msg ya Tika and Ivan and anyone else!
