KTA 8.0 a little taste of hell

Okay..I am at work and a bit bored, so before I leave I think it is time to abandon our other thread that now runs 4 pages and start a new one.

Superstition ran in our ranks. Having found 6 Vipermagi Skins :surprise: could mean only one thing: Nihlataks bugged Vipers would claim their hides back. Well..they didn't, although I read in another thread that Aerath downed 4 purples. What happend, man?

After that, Ancients were our last hope for a challenge - but they also died without much of a fight, so 7 of us dropped Baal and Eurymone left early so that she can first-drop him.

I have a nice screenie to share of us on the Arreat Summit, but it will have to wait until I am at home and can upload it.

Well - them darn vipers managed to knock off about 3.2k Life

Lucky thing is... I have 3.7k

So I hit the rejuvs fast and then hit them some more to be sure
(Good thing too, as I took one or two more spears...)

Then an antidote and all was well for more slaughtering =]

I also had a scary "viper" moment.

I trailed a bit after and didn't noticed the vipers until i was hit and lost more than half in a blink of an eye. I guess I had around 2400 Life with oak and BO. I was a bit surprised but 2 juvs and an antidote saved my ***.:teeth:

Other than that i found a Barb combat/Frw Charm :thumbsup:

Eek! I think most of us would've died had the vipers struck us like that!

I'm glad we all made it and I'm so happy with my new +2 assa skillz claws (I want another one!! :drool: ) and of course the trap charm, lucky me!

I haven't even had a scary moment yet, except in the very beginning when I almost died in act 1 normal :cheesy:

That's really funny...who killed him? Most of the time I saw Aeraths hairy back..occasionally thinking that he advanced quite bravely. Then we were in the middle chamber leading to Nit's room and lots of poison going of and monsters dying. I had the feeling I got the Quest button quiet early, didn't see anybody ahead at all (but had my map closed).

Suddenly I see a lot of splattered bodies and hear the death music. My guess was that Seadreamer and Edwina got him? :Scratch: Or our barbarians? Chiller cam back the moment the questlog opened. Maybe it was a heroic charge from Kniget?

The most logical explanation: He heard us and commited Harakiri :lol:

Got the inspiration from a thread in the OT forum..lots of ppl adjusting their avatars for Christmas (so technically a Halo and wings should be better).
Too bad I am quiet busy right now..hope I find time on the WE to animate the snow . First of December, uh? Only 3 more weeks to go. Kids opened their first present on the "Adventskalender" (in case you have that custom, the word for it escapes me)
Saw you online while we did a couple of Baalruns..so I guess the WoW beta hasn't started, yet...

I would join a KTA game, but its difficult doing Monday and Wednesday ...

Now if you make the next one, Monday and Thursday...............

We are in act 1 Hell now...so in 2 weeks we might be talking KTA 9.0 before Christmas. Guess the ladder will run into next year...and there is again the option of KTA 9.A and KTA 9.B with an adjustment in playing times. We now have 8 ppl that are very determined and show up every time. We finally might get more ppl playing than one group can hold.

I can't tell you how happy I am with my wife's attitude concerning my playing. She just likes to watch TV in the evenings..and its these awful soaps that I cannot stand. The only day we watch anything together is when "Scrubs" or so is on (Tuesdays)..or a DVD on Saturdays

So our interests don't clash at all and it makes us both very happy

I didn't see any of you online last night. Must have been dozing. My sorcie is lvl 67 and is still in need of some NM Baals.

As for WoW, the Open beta starts 'in december' so I have to bide my time. typical Blizzard being so vague about things as always.

Oh, and the English for AdventsKalender is Advent Calendar, and I opened my first door this morning too. Hmmm, slightly stale chocolate :lol:.

SweetShadow, i have +2 all and +3 traps claws, as well as shadow disciplines skiller for you. Another ward has been found, as well as natalya's boots - for anybody with resistance problems. I shouldn't have ones if i socket my ward with piamond, and use 3 grand charms with 20+ to various resistances.
