I know it must seem wierd with my extremely low level comparatively, but I think I got an almost unfairly lucky roll on skills with zeal, sacrifice, and holy shock.
If it makes anyone feel any better my defense is only like 360 with a defiance merc. I really need to find some trellised armor. My armor is really crap. I am getting sick of a dual El'd Studded Leather.
One NDE with Nihlathak, I have no strategy on how to kill him, as I never do.

Wow, the Black Tower was rough. Took the first three levels on players 8, and had a couple NDE's while wiping out a boss pack of archers. Switched to players 5, and had another NDE going into the Countess' chamber... took a couple trips to town and two merc resurrections, but I got her... and she dropped an Amn :thumbsup:

Please reconsider your skill selection, because you can get, for example, werebear attacks and no werebear form!
Though this may go with the "useless" skills rule, I think it may make the shapeshifting tree too "safe" to choose from...so I'll wait for someone else and their input before I roll your skills.

There is no statement about not rerunning areas, so there should be no problem going back and using your embue and then going to act 3 and finding the Great Marsh WP. Well Skunkbelly, I am getting real close, but if I had used my embue, I would have pulled ahead. Look out for the archers in the jail. There are a bunch of them.
By the way, if you are three levels below me and only one WP short of me, why are we tied. You should be a couple points ahead. I noted in other score posts that you used the level directly instead of the number of levels gained. That could account for one point. To be honest, I am not sure who is correct on that one. Maybe Kool69 could clarify. If you are right, I should score -50 for my level penalty instead of -49 (because I have only gained 49 levels from the level 1 that I started with).

In the middle level of Nihlathak's lair, fluke of all flukes, I saw a gold flail drop, and sure enough there was the General's Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do. I thought I might as well use up all my quests on it so that I will be completely done with Act V, so let me present:

Anyway, aside from that, I found a gold longbow, green long battle bow, green ring (angelic) and green sash (deaths) so far in Act 5. Considering I only have about 15%MF I can't possibly complain!

Next session should cover the Ancients and Baal. I don't foresee many issues with either at present, although those are good candidates for famous last words.

Furthest WP is Pandamonium Fortress.
It stinks that she is dead, but I'm still quite pleased with how far I've made it given my lack of experience, with both hardcore mode and the assassin in general. I have higher hopes for my next charicter. I'd like to beat normal without dieing. Could someone update me on the table and roll me a new charicter. Pally, with 3 in combat skills, and 2 in offensive auras. I believe scepters are there own weapon class, so I'd like one of thost for my weapon of choice. Not sure on his name yet, I'll figure it out eventually.

Actually this is good news! No father likes to take unfair advantage of his son. I am sure that Skunkbelly will be happy to find that wolron is one less ahead of him than might be implied by the rules. {I guess the rules are written incorrectly when it says "levels you gain", or maybe you actually do gain that first level. Kind of an entry fee to the tournament. :grin: }
Third: I need some help from those who are more experienced in this game than I am. Yes Skunkbelly, that means you too! I found a charm (Fine Grand Charm of Blight) with +3 to max damage, +16 to Attack Rating and 6 poison damage over 3 seconds. I decided that it might not be worth keeping, but to check it out I decided to look at Pirana's character stats. In spite of the supposed advantages of the charm, this is what I observed:
AR increase by 16 just as I expected.
However, my damage prior to the charm was: 83-108 and 298-313 with immolation arrow.
After the charm was added to my backpack, the damage became: 76-108 and 298-313 with immolation arrow.
Why did my damage become lower? I would have expected it to go up and had expected 89-117 (6 for the poison and 3 to the max).
Just to investigate, I removed my bow. Of course, the damage became very low. Now when I used the charm, I got what I expected.
This changes my question to: What is there about a long bow with 3 sockets (Tir-Tal-Amn to make it an "edge" bow) that causes it to mess up the advantages that I would have expected from the charm???????
Finally: Pirana is now in Lut Gholein. Andariel was her usual pesky self, but Pirana did not need to go back to town. Of course, Jemali died about half way through, so Pirana and the her Valkarie had to finish the job without him. I am being a bit timid by playing on P4, but better safe than sorry.

Well, the first thing I'd say is, sell the charm to Charsi 
If that was a small charm, it'd be worth keeping, but as a grand charm, it isn't worth the inventory space, unless you're REALLY hurting for damage.
As for the weird abnormality, I can't say.
